Precautions and warnings

Hypersensitivity reactions. Possibility of ototoxicity
- nephrotoxicity if used in large quantities or on large areas for prolonged use.
Bacitracin Zinc: Increased risk of toxicity when used with other nephrotoxic drugs, May raise the process of neuromuscular-blocking agents.
Neomycin Sulphate: Additive toxic and toxin effect along with other ahminoglycosides (for example, paromomycin), bacitracin, cisplatin, vancomycin, amphotericin B, polymyxin B, collision and viomycin,Enhanced toxicity along with strong diuretics (for example, ethacrynic acid, furosemide),May impair the absorption of other drugs (for example, phenoxymethylpenicillin, digoxin, methotrexate and some it), May reduce the efficacy of Cos, May raise the effect of acarbose, May raise the effect of non-depolarizing muscle relaxants, May antagonize the system nervous effect of neostigmine and pyearidostigmine, May increase the risk of hypocalcemia in patients receiving bisphosphonates, May change INR when bestowed along with anticoagulants,May inactivate oral typhoid vaccine.

Mode of actions
Neomycin, an aminoglyoside with anti microbic spectrum similar to gentamicin, binds to the 30S subunits of the bacterial ribosome, inhibiting protein synthesis and thereby disrupting DNA synthesis, It is active against many gram-negative aerobes and against some strains of staphylococci, Bacitracin, on the other hand, inhibits bacterial cell fence synthesis and is active against many gram-sure bacteria (for example, staphylococci, streptococci, corynebacteria and clostridia) and some gram-negative species (for example, Neisseria and Homophiles influenzae),They are often saved in combinations in topical preparations as extensive spectrum antibacterial agents.
Dosage & Administration
Adult: Topical: Cream: Apply 3 times/day.
Powder: Apply 2-4 times/day.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Although animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, but during pregnancy, this medicine can be used just when definitely required despite potential risks.
Another study shows that this medicine is not allowed during pregnancy. Do not use it if you are pregnant. It can be absorbed through the skin and lungs caused can damage your unborn child’s organs and cause congenital disabilities. Strict effective birth control during treatment and for six months after stopping this medicine. If you do become pregnant, stop taking this medicine and discuss your doctor right away.
There is no specific information on whether this medicine passes into breast milk or not. Considering the possible risks for the children, breastfeeding while using this medicine is not recommended and at least two weeks after the last dose. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.
