Precautions and warnings
This medicine may make it unsafe to drive or use machines. It can be habit-forming. Do not use if you have narrow-angle glaucoma, asthma, or serious heart problems. The anti-nausea effects might hide symptoms of other illnesses. Use with caution if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or elderly.

Drug Interactions
Aminoglycoside antibiotics can cause ear damage (ototoxicity), but this effect may be hidden.
Dangerous: Mixing with alcohol, sedatives, opioids, sleeping pills, or medications for narcolepsy can dangerously increase drowsiness and slow down the brain. It can also make the side effects of MAOIs, atropine, and tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs) stronger.
Contraindications
Symptomatic prostatic hypertrophy; neonates and premature infants.
Mode of actions
Pheniramine is a type of medicine that blocks H1 histamine receptors. It can also cause some drowsiness and has mild effects similar to those of drugs that block acetylcholine.
Dosage & Administration
Adult: PO Allergic conditions; Prevention of motion sickness As maleate:
Syr: 15-30 mg 2-3 times/day.
Tab: Up to 45 mg 3 times/day. Max: 3 mg/kg/day.
For motion sickness prevention: Take 1st dose at least 30 mins before travelling.
Children aged 1-3 years: Half a measuring spoonful 2 or 3 times daily.
Children aged 4-12 years: 1 measuring spoonful 2 or 3 times daily.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Although animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, but during pregnancy, this medicine can be used just when definitely required despite potential risks.
Mothers with a newborn baby who have used this drug during the last 3 months of pregnancy may seldom create symptoms including drowsiness, muscle stiffness or shakiness, feeding or breathing troubles, constant crying. If you notice any of these symptoms of your baby's particularly during their first month, tell the doctor immediately.
This medicine passes into breast milk. Talk to your doctor before breastfeeding.
