Drug Interactions
Taking this medication with other drugs that depress the central nervous system (such as sedatives or tranquilizers) may increase side effects related to drowsiness, dizziness, or slowed breathing.
Mode of actions
Levocetirizine is a form of cetirizine that works by blocking histamine at H1-receptor sites in the stomach and intestines, blood vessels, and breathing passages. This helps reduce allergy symptoms.
Dosage & Administration
• Adult and children 12 years of age and older: 5mg once daily
• Children 6 to 11 years of age: 2.5mg (1/2 tablet or 1 teaspoon oral solution) once daily
• Children 6 months to 5 years of age: 1.25 mg (1/2 teaspoon oral solution) once daily
Pregnancy & Lactation
Although animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect even sometimes unable to demonstrate the risk on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, but during pregnancy, this medicine can be used just when definitely required.

There is no specific information about whether this medicine is passed on to the baby through breast milk. Discuss with your doctor before breastfeeding.
