This medicine may make it unsafe to drive or use machines. Use with caution in older adults. Do not use during the first trimester of pregnancy, and check with your doctor before using while breastfeeding.
Antidepressants and anxiety medications can increase the sedative effects of mizolastine. Strong inhibitors or drugs that are processed by the liver in the same way as mizolastine (such as cimetidine, ciclosporin, or nifedipine) can change how mizolastine is broken down.
Warning: There is a higher risk of serious heart rhythm problems if mizolastine is taken with drugs that lengthen the QT interval, like class I and III antiarrhythmics. Taking mizolastine with certain antibiotics (such as macrolides) or antifungal medicines (such as imidazoles) can increase its levels in the blood.
Serious heart or liver problems; imbalance of body salts, especially low potassium levels; known or suspected QT prolongation (a heart rhythm issue). Also, if you have a very slow heartbeat that is considered medically important.
Mizolastine is a type of antihistamine that does not make you sleepy. It works by blocking histamine H1-receptors found in the digestive system, blood vessels, and breathing passages. It also helps to stabilize mast cells, which can help prevent allergic reactions.

If you do become pregnant while you are taking this medicine, you should continue to take it and contact with your doctors as quickly as possible. They can assist you to decide whether or not to keep taking this medicine. If you abandon taking this medicine and become sick, this would be more pernicious to your child than staying on the medication.
There is no specific information about whether this medicine is passed on to the baby through breast milk. During this medication, if your baby becomes very sleepy, restless, fatigued, exhibit feeding problems, stop breastfeeding and talk to your doctors very quickly.
