Precautions and warnings

Overdosage should be avoided. Renal failure patients who are mild to moderate. Patients with diabetes who are prone to recurrent renal calculi.

Contraindications

Patients who have a history of hypersensitivity to one or more of the components.

Mode of actions

Vitamin A is required for the proper function of the retina as well as the growth and development of epithelial tissue. Vitamin B is necessary for the production and maintenance of coenzyme A. Lipid metabolism, carbohydrate metabolism, tissue respiration, glycogenolysis, and inhibiting the formation of very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) are all dependent on it. Increases the elimination of chylomicron triglycerides from plasma. Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) is needed for normal erythropoiesis, nucleoprotein and myelin synthesis, cell reproduction, and growth; intrinsic factor, a glycoprotein released by the gastric mucosa, is needed for active absorption of Vitamin B12 from the GI tract. Plays a part in the activation of pyridoxine and the conversion of tryptophan to niacin; essential for appropriate tissue respiration.

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that protects vital biological components. Vitamin C is required for the creation of collagen and tissue repair; it also plays a role in oxidation/reduction reactions and other metabolic pathways, such as the synthesis of catecholamines, carnitine, and steroids; and it aids in the conversion of folic acid to folinic acid.

Vitamin D3 is a sterol that is fat-soluble. It is required for the maintenance of calcium and phosphate homeostasis as well as bone mineralization. Vitamin D is also necessary for strong bones because it helps calcium absorption from the gastrointestinal tract. Furthermore, it promotes the production of bones. Calcium and Vitamin D have a synergistic effect on bone development, osteoporosis, and fracture prevention, according to clinical trials.

Dosage & Administration

1-2 tablet/capsule daily or as recommended by the physician.

Pregnancy & Lactation

FDA has not yet classified this medicine into a specified pregnancy category. Although there is no enough evidence that taking this medicine during you are pregnant is harmful.

If you do become pregnant while you are taking this medicine, you should continue to take it and contact with your doctors as quickly as possible. They can assist you to decide whether or not to keep taking this medicine. If you abandon taking this medicine and become sick, this would be more pernicious to your child than staying on the medication.


There is no specific information about whether this medicine is passed on to the baby through breast milk. During this medication, if your baby becomes very sleepy, restless, fatigued, exhibit feeding problems, stop breastfeeding and talk to your doctors very quickly.
