Vitamin C is required for the creation of collagen and tissue repair; it also plays a role in oxidation/reduction reactions and other metabolic pathways, such as the synthesis of catecholamines, carnitine, and steroids; and it aids in the conversion of folic acid to folinic acid.
Vitamin D3 is a sterol that is fat-soluble. It is required for the maintenance of calcium and phosphate homeostasis as well as bone mineralization. Vitamin D is also necessary for strong bones because it helps calcium absorption from the gastrointestinal tract. Furthermore, it promotes the production of bones. Calcium and Vitamin D have a synergistic effect on bone development, osteoporosis, and fracture prevention, according to clinical trials.
