Precautions and warnings

Keep this product away from your eyes and mouth. If you are allergic to ragweed or chrysanthemums, you might also react to this. Use caution if you have asthma. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before using.

Drug Interactions

You may experience mild and temporary side effects like burning, stinging, itching, redness, tingling, numbness, or a rash. In some cases, you might have trouble breathing or develop a skin reaction when exposed to sunlight.

Mode of actions

Permethrin is a type of medicine used to kill lice and scabies. It works by affecting the pests’ nerves, blocking sodium ions from entering their nerve cells. This keeps the nerves from returning to a normal state, which leads to paralysis and eventually kills the pests.

Dosage & Administration

Adults and children over 12 years(30 gm tube) : A full tube.
Children aged 6-12 years : Up to 1/2 of a tube.
Children aged 1-5 years : Up to 1/4 of a tube.
Children aged 2 months to 1 year: Up to 1/8 of a tube.

Scabies As 5% cream: Apply to skin surfaces from neck to toes. Wash off after 8-14 hr.

Adult: Topical Pediculosis pubis As 5% cream: Apply and leave on for 10 mins before rinsing with water.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Although animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect even sometimes unable to demonstrate the risk on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, but during pregnancy, this medicine can be used just when definitely required.

There is no specific information about whether this medicine is passed on to the baby through breast milk. Discuss with your doctor before breastfeeding.
