Andere Medikamente wie Tetracyclin-Antibiotika (wie Doxycyclin und Minocyclin), Bisphosphonate (wie Alendronat) und Chinolon-Antibiotika (wie Ciprofloxacin, Levofloxacin) können von diesem Produkt betroffen sein. Trennen Sie Ihre Dosen dieser Medikamente so weit wie möglich von Ihren Dosen dieses Produkts. Fragen Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker, wie lange Sie zwischen den Dosen warten sollten und ob er Ihnen dabei helfen kann, ein Dosierungsschema zu finden, das für alle Ihre Medikamente geeignet ist.
Contraindications
Es ist bei Patienten mit einer Überempfindlichkeit gegen Zink kontraindiziert.
Mode of actions
Zink ist ein Cofaktor in über 100 Enzymen, spielt eine Rolle bei der DNA-Synthese, fördert ein gesundes Immunsystem, hilft bei der Aufrechterhaltung des Geruchs- und Geschmackssinns und kann dazu beitragen, dass Insulin richtig funktioniert.
Dosage & Administration
Tablette: Für Säuglinge im Alter zwischen 2 und 6 Monaten: 10 mg Zink einmal täglich für 10–14 Tage. Für Kinder zwischen 6 Monaten und 5 Jahren: 20 mg Zink einmal täglich für 10–14 Tage. Für andere Indikationen beträgt die empfohlene Dosis für Kinder 2 bis 2,5 mg/kg/Tag. Kinder unter 10 kg: 10 mg Zink 2-mal täglich. Kinder zwischen 10 und 30 kg: 20 mg Zink 1-3 mal täglich. Erwachsene und Kinder über 30 kg Körpergewicht: 40 mg Zink 1-3 mal täglich.
Sirup: Kinder unter 10 kg: 5 ml (1 Teelöffel) 2-mal täglich. Kinder zwischen 10 und 30 kg: 10 ml (2 Teelöffel) 1-3 mal täglich. Erwachsene und Kinder über 30 kg: 20 ml (4 Teelöffel) 1-3 mal täglich.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Die FDA hat dieses Arzneimittel noch nicht in eine bestimmte Schwangerschaftskategorie eingestuft. Allerdings gibt es keine ausreichenden Beweise dafür, dass die Einnahme dieses Arzneimittels während der Schwangerschaft schädlich ist.
Besprechen Sie dies mit Ihrem Arzt, wenn Sie versuchen, während der Einnahme dieses Arzneimittels schwanger zu werden.
Wenn Sie während der Einnahme dieses Arzneimittels schwanger werden, sollten Sie die Einnahme fortsetzen und so schnell wie möglich Kontakt zu Ihrem Arzt aufnehmen. Sie können Ihnen bei der Entscheidung helfen, ob Sie dieses Arzneimittel weiterhin einnehmen sollen oder nicht. Wenn Sie die Einnahme dieses Arzneimittels abbrechen und krank werden, wäre dies für Ihr Kind schädlicher, als wenn Sie das Arzneimittel weiterhin einnehmen.
Es liegen keine spezifischen Informationen darüber vor, ob dieses Arzneimittel über die Muttermilch auf das Baby übertragen wird. Wenn Ihr Baby während der Einnahme dieser Medikation sehr schläfrig, unruhig oder müde wird oder Probleme beim Füttern hat, hören Sie mit dem Stillen auf und sprechen Sie umgehend mit Ihrem Arzt.
