Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.

Mode of actions

Metronidazole works by turning into chemicals inside the cell that damage the DNA, breaking its structure and stopping protein production. This leads to the death of certain bacteria and protozoa, especially those that live without oxygen.

Nystatin is an antifungal medicine. It attaches to a substance called ergosterol in the cell membrane of fungi, which makes holes in the membrane and causes the cell to leak and die.

Polymyxin B mainly targets gram-negative bacteria. It binds to the cell membrane, making it leaky and causing important parts of the cell to spill out, which kills the bacteria.

Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. It sticks to the 30S part of the bacterial ribosome, blocking protein production and causing mistakes in making proteins, which leads to cell death. It is effective against many gram-negative and some gram-positive bacteria, but it does not work against fungi, viruses, or most bacteria that don’t need oxygen to survive.

Dosage & Administration

Per Vagina: One suppository to be inserted into vagina at bedtime for 12 days, or as directed by the physician. As Capsule: 100 mg every night for 7-14 days.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Although animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect even sometimes unable to demonstrate the risk on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, but during pregnancy, this medicine can be used just when definitely required.
