Clindacin Lotion is indicated for

Precautions and warnings
Do not use this product in your mouth, eyes, or inside the vagina.
Stay out of the sun and away from sunlamps.
Use sunscreen every day.

Drug Interactions
This medication may increase the effects of neuromuscular blocking drugs such as atracurium. It can reduce the effectiveness of drugs that mimic the parasympathetic nervous system. It may also interfere with the actions of certain antibiotics, including macrolides, ketolides, streptogramins, linezolid, and chloramphenicol. When taken with vitamin K antagonists like warfarin, acenocoumarol, or fluindione, it may raise blood clotting test results (such as prothrombin time/INR) and increase the risk of bleeding.
Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to clindamycin.
Mode of actions
Clindamycin works by attaching to the 50S part of bacterial ribosomes, which blocks the bacteria from making proteins and slows their growth. It can increase the effects of muscle relaxants like atracurium. It may also reduce the effects of drugs that act like the parasympathetic nervous system. Clindamycin can interfere with similar antibiotics like macrolides, ketolides, streptogramins, linezolid, and chloramphenicol. When taken with blood thinners such as warfarin, acenocoumarol, or fluindione, it may raise the risk of bleeding or increase blood clotting test results like prothrombin time or INR.
Dosage & Administration
Clean the face or affected area gently with warm water or soap as recommended by the physician. After the skin is dried, apply a thin film of lotion to the affected areas twice daily, in the morning and in the evening.
Do not wash within three hours after using lotion. The treatment period is usually 6 weeks or as advised by the physician.
However, 8 to 12 weeks of treatment may be required for maximum benefit.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Although animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect even sometimes unable to demonstrate the risk on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, but during pregnancy, this medicine can be used just when definitely required.

There is no specific information about whether this medicine is passed on to the baby through breast milk. Discuss with your doctor before breastfeeding.
