Precautions and warnings

Always follow standard safety measures when giving injections. Do not use the medicine if there are particles or it looks cloudy. Inject it slowly into the vein. If the medicine is very concentrated, mix it with Normal Saline before giving it through an IV.

Contraindications

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Mode of actions

**Vitamin B** helps the body use fats and carbohydrates for energy, supports tissue breathing, and assists in breaking down glycogen. It also helps control the production of certain fats in the body and may help remove fat from the blood.

**Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin)** is important for making healthy red blood cells, building DNA and nerve coverings, cell growth, and normal body development. The body needs a special protein called intrinsic factor, made in the stomach, to absorb vitamin B12 from food. Vitamin B12 helps with breathing at the tissue level, activates vitamin B6, and changes the amino acid tryptophan into niacin.

Dosage & Administration

Injection : 2 ml daily IV or IM. High concentrations given intravenously may be diluted using parenteral infusion solutions.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Adequate and well-controlled human studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus in the first trimester of pregnancy and there is not enough evidence of risk in later trimesters.
