Mode of actions

Fluorometholone works by reducing inflammation. It does this by stopping certain white blood cells from moving to the area of inflammation and by preventing fluid from leaking out of tiny blood vessels.

Gentamicin is an antibiotic from the aminoglycoside group. It attaches to parts of the bacteria called ribosomal subunits (specifically the 30s and 50s units), which stops the bacteria from making proteins properly. This process damages the bacteria’s cell membrane and helps kill the bacteria.
