Betadine is indicated for

Side-effects
- تهيج وحساسية الجلد المحلية. التطبيق على مساحات واسعة من الجلد المعرى قد ينتج عنه تأثيرات جهازية بسبب امتصاص اليود. قد يؤدي تطبيق اليود البوفيدون على الجروح الكبيرة أو الحروق الشديدة إلى تأثيرات ضائرة جهازية مثل الحماض الاستقلابي، فرط صوديوم الدم وضعف وظائف الكلى. في بعض الأحيان يتم الإبلاغ عن حرقة خفيفة أو عابرة أو إحساس لزج ونادراً ما يتم الإبلاغ عن تهيج أو تفاعلات فرط الحساسية.
Contraindications
يجب على الأشخاص الذين يعانون من مشاكل الغدة الدرقية - وخاصة أولئك الذين يعانون من تضخم الغدة الدرقية العقدي، أو تضخم الغدة الدرقية المتوطن، أو التهاب الغدة الدرقية هاشيموتو - عدم استخدام هذا المنتج بانتظام. كما يجب عدم استخدامه عند الأطفال أقل من عامين. إذا كان شخص ما يعاني من مشاكل في الكلى ويحتاج إلى استخدام هذا المنتج بشكل متكرر على الجلد المكسور، فهناك حاجة إلى رعاية إضافية. لا ينصح أيضًا بالاستخدام المنتظم للأشخاص الذين يتناولون الليثيوم.
Mode of actions

Dosage & Administration
للبالغين: كمرهم: لعلاج العدوى: يستخدم مرة أو مرتين يوميًا أو عند تغيير الضمادات لمدة أقصاها 14 يومًا.
للوقاية من العدوى: يستخدم مرة أو مرتين في الأسبوع طالما كان ذلك ضروريًا. ضع المرهم مباشرة على المنطقة المصابة بعد تنظيفها وتجفيفها. يمكن تغطيتها بضمادة أو ضمادة.
كمسحوق: ضعيه كلما دعت الحاجة. يمكن تغطيته بضمادة أو ضمادة.
Pregnancy & Lactation
لا يسمح بهذا الدواء أثناء الحمل. لا تستخدميه إذا كنت حاملا. يمكن امتصاصه من خلال الجلد والرئتين مما قد يؤدي إلى تلف أعضاء طفلك الذي لم يولد بعد ويسبب إعاقات خلقية. تحديد النسل بشكل صارم وفعال أثناء العلاج ولمدة ستة أشهر بعد إيقاف هذا الدواء. إذا أصبحت حاملاً، توقفي عن تناول هذا الدواء وتحدثي مع طبيبك على الفور.
لا توجد معلومات محددة حول ما إذا كان هذا الدواء ينتقل إلى حليب الثدي أم لا. نظرا للمخاطر المحتملة على الأطفال، لا ينصح بالرضاعة الطبيعية أثناء استخدام هذا الدواء وبعد أسبوعين على الأقل من الجرعة الأخيرة. استشر طبيبك قبل الرضاعة الطبيعية.
