Betadine Sol is indicated for

Side-effects
- स्थानीय त्वचा की जलन और संवेदनशीलता। छिली हुई त्वचा के बड़े क्षेत्रों पर लगाने से आयोडीन अवशोषण के कारण प्रणालीगत प्रभाव उत्पन्न हो सकता है। बड़े घावों या गंभीर जलने पर पोविडोन आयोडीन का प्रयोग मेटाबॉलिक एसिडोसिस
- हाइपरनेट्रेमिया और गुर्दे के कार्य में हानि जैसे प्रणालीगत प्रतिकूल प्रभाव पैदा कर सकता है। कभी-कभी हल्की-क्षणिक जलन या चिपचिपापन और बहुत कम ही जलन या अतिसंवेदनशीलता प्रतिक्रियाएं रिपोर्ट की जाती हैं।
Contraindications
थायराइड की समस्या वाले लोगों को - विशेष रूप से गांठदार कोलाइड गोइटर, स्थानिक गोइटर, या हाशिमोटो के थायरॉयडिटिस वाले लोगों को - इस उत्पाद का नियमित रूप से उपयोग नहीं करना चाहिए। इसका उपयोग 2 वर्ष से कम उम्र के शिशुओं में भी नहीं किया जाना चाहिए। यदि किसी को किडनी की समस्या है और उसे अक्सर टूटी त्वचा पर इस उत्पाद का उपयोग करना पड़ता है, तो अतिरिक्त देखभाल की आवश्यकता होती है। जो लोग लिथियम ले रहे हैं उनके लिए भी नियमित उपयोग की अनुशंसा नहीं की जाती है।
Mode of actions
पोविडोन-आयोडीन एक प्रकार का कीटाणुनाशक है जो बैक्टीरिया, वायरस, कवक, प्रोटोजोआ और बीजाणुओं सहित कई प्रकार के कीटाणुओं को मारने में बहुत प्रभावी है। यह रोगाणुओं की कोशिकाओं के महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सों को तोड़कर और उनके प्रोटीन से जुड़कर काम करता है, जिससे वे निष्क्रिय हो जाते हैं।
Dosage & Administration
वयस्क: मरहम के रूप में: संक्रमण के उपचार के लिए: अधिकतम 14 दिनों के लिए प्रतिदिन एक या दो बार या ड्रेसिंग बदलते समय लगाएं।
संक्रमण की रोकथाम के लिए: जब तक आवश्यक हो सप्ताह में एक या दो बार लगाएं। साफ और सूखने के बाद प्रभावित क्षेत्र पर सीधे मलहम लगाएं। ड्रेसिंग या पट्टी से ढका जा सकता है।
पाउडर के रूप में: जितनी बार आवश्यक हो निर्देशानुसार लगाएं। ड्रेसिंग या पट्टी से ढका जा सकता है।
Pregnancy & Lactation
गर्भावस्था के दौरान इस दवा की अनुमति नहीं है। यदि आप गर्भवती हैं तो इसका प्रयोग न करें। यह त्वचा और फेफड़ों के माध्यम से अवशोषित हो सकता है, जिससे आपके अजन्मे बच्चे के अंगों को नुकसान हो सकता है और जन्मजात विकलांगता हो सकती है। उपचार के दौरान और इस दवा को रोकने के छह महीने बाद तक सख्त प्रभावी जन्म नियंत्रण। यदि आप गर्भवती हो जाती हैं, तो इस दवा को लेना बंद कर दें और तुरंत अपने डॉक्टर से चर्चा करें।
यह दवा स्तन के दूध में पारित होती है या नहीं, इस पर कोई विशेष जानकारी नहीं है। बच्चों के लिए संभावित जोखिमों को ध्यान में रखते हुए, इस दवा का उपयोग करते समय स्तनपान कराने की सिफारिश नहीं की जाती है और आखिरी खुराक के कम से कम दो सप्ताह बाद स्तनपान कराने की सलाह दी जाती है। स्तनपान कराने से पहले अपने डॉक्टर से परामर्श लें।
