Aristocrom is indicated for
- Rinitis alérgica
- Conjuntivitis alérgica
Precautions and warnings
Dado que esta gota para los ojos contiene cloruro de benzalconio, no debe usar lentes de contacto mientras la usa.
Side-effects
- Se ha informado irritación leve de la garganta
- tos y broncoespasmo transitorio con una marcada caída de las funciones pulmonares. En tales casos
- se debe suspender el tratamiento y no se debe reiniciar. Después de la instilación de estas gotas puede producirse escozor y ardor transitorios. Rara vez se han informado otros síntomas de irritación local.
Contraindications
Esta gota para los ojos no debe ser utilizada por personas alérgicas al cromoglicato de sodio.
Mode of actions
El cromoglicato de sodio impide que los mastocitos liberen su contenido, lo que ayuda a prevenir la liberación de sustancias como histamina, leucotrienos y otras sustancias químicas que causan reacciones alérgicas.
Dosage & Administration
Para los ojos:
Para niños y adultos: 1 a 2 gotas en cada ojo 2 a 3 veces al día.
Para nariz:
Para niños y adultos: 1-2 gotas en cada fosa nasal de 2 a 4 veces al día.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Aunque los estudios de reproducción en animales han demostrado un efecto adverso, incluso a veces no se puede demostrar el riesgo para el feto y no existen estudios adecuados y bien controlados en mujeres embarazadas, durante el embarazo este medicamento se puede utilizar sólo cuando sea definitivamente necesario.
