Precautions and warnings
如果某人有 QT 間期延長病史、身體電解質問題未治療或患有癲癇等神經系統疾病，則應小心。 保持充足的水分很重要。 如果治療持續很長時間，出現皮疹的機會就更高。 這些問題對兒童來說尤其重要。
Side-effects
- 腹瀉、噁心、嘔吐；頭痛、頭暈；皮疹、蕁麻疹。 可能導致肝酵素升高。
Drug Interactions
當此藥物與 IA 類（如奎尼丁）或 III 類（如胺碘酮）抗心律不整藥物以及其他可延長 QT 間期的藥物（如紅黴素、三環類抗憂鬱藥和抗精神病藥）併用時，QT 間期延長的風險較高。 丙磺舒可以減少這種藥物經由腎臟從體內的清除。 如果與含有鋁或鎂的抗酸劑、緩衝去羥肌苷、硫糖鋁或含有鋅、鎂或鐵等金屬的膳食補充劑一起服用，則該藥物的吸收會減少。 60 歲以上的老年人，尤其是那些同時使用皮質類固醇的老年人，出現嚴重肌腱問題的風險較高。 這種藥物也可能增加華法林的作用，可能會增加凝血酶原時間、INR 和出血風險。
Contraindications
過敏：對本藥過敏或過敏的患者，或正在服用 IA 類或 III 類抗心律不整藥物的患者禁用。
Mode of actions
吉米沙星透過阻斷拓樸異構酶 II（也稱為 DNA 旋轉酶）和拓樸異構酶 IV 兩種重要的酵素來殺死細菌。 細菌複製、修復和使用 DNA 需要這些酵素。 沒有它們，細菌就無法生存。
Dosage & Administration
成人：PO 慢性支氣管炎急性細菌性惡化 320 mg，每日一次，持續 5 天。
社區型肺炎 320 mg，每日一次，持續 7 天。
腎功能損害：
CrCl (毫升/分鐘)
Pregnancy & Lactation
雖然動物生殖研究顯示對胎兒有不良影響，並且在孕婦中沒有充分且良好對照的研究，但在懷孕期間，儘管存在潛在風險，但在確實需要時可以使用該藥物。
在懷孕最後 3 個月內使用這種藥物的新生兒母親可能很少會出現困倦、肌肉僵硬或顫抖、餵食或呼吸困難、持續哭泣等症狀。 如果您發現寶寶有任何這些症狀，尤其是在第一個月內，請立即告訴醫生。
這種藥物會進入母乳。 哺乳前請先諮詢您的醫生。
