Precautions and warnings
如果您患有性類固醇依賴性癌症、子宮外孕史、營養吸收問題（吸收不良症候群）、功能性卵巢囊腫、活動性肝病或反覆發作的膽汁淤積性黃疸（包括懷孕期間黃疸），請勿使用。 此外，如果您患有嚴重的心臟或腎臟問題、糖尿病、氣喘、癲癇、偏頭痛或因液體滯留而惡化的情況，請避免使用。 患有憂鬱症或有血栓病史的人（尤其是高劑量）應謹慎使用。 哺乳期間不建議使用。
Side-effects
- 月經不規則；噁心、嘔吐、頭痛、頭暈、乳房不適、男性女乳症、憂鬱、皮膚病、食慾不振、體重變化、體液滯留、水腫、性慾變化、膽汁淤積性黃疸、掉髮或多毛症。 良性顱內高壓、血小板減少性紫斑症。 潛在致命：血小板減少症、中風。
Contraindications
若您懷孕、有不明原因的陰道出血、嚴重動脈疾病、肝臟腫瘤、卟啉症或肝臟問題，請勿使用。 近期摘除葡萄胎（一種異常懷孕）後或有乳癌病史時也應避免使用。
Mode of actions
黃體素會阻止腦下垂體釋放排卵所需的激素，因此大約一半使用它的人不會排卵。 它也會使子宮頸中的黏液變稠，使精子更難進入子宮。
Dosage & Administration
成人：口服避孕藥單一療法：30 或 37.5 微克/天。 單相複方口服避孕藥 (COC)：150-250 微克/天。 三相 COC：50-125 微克/天。
緊急避孕藥 1.5 mg，性交 72 小時後服用，或立即服用 750 mcg，或性交 72 小時後服用，然後 12 小時後服用第二劑。 停經期 HRT 作為黃體素成分：75-250 mcg/天，持續 28 天週期中的 10-12 天。
Pregnancy & Lactation
懷孕期間不得使用該藥。 它可以透過皮膚和肺部吸收，從而損害未出生孩子的器官並導致先天性殘疾。 從治療前一個月和治療期間以及停藥後三年開始，嚴格採取兩種有效的節育措施。 如果您不確定哪種避孕方法對您有效，請與您的醫生討論。 在使用該藥物治療期間以及服用該藥物後至少三年內，您必須定期進行妊娠測試。 如果您似乎確實懷孕了，請停止服用此藥並立即致電您的醫生。 如果你真的懷孕了，錯過了月經，或是在沒有使用兩種避孕措施的情況下發生性行為。 在某些情況下，您的醫生可以開立緊急避孕藥來預防懷孕。 服用這種藥物的人在治療期間和治療後三年內不應捐血。
此藥亦禁忌母乳。 不建議在使用這種藥物期間及之後三年內進行母乳哺育。
