Precautions and warnings

Tell your doctor if you have any of the following medical conditions: asthma, bleeding or clotting issues, blood disorders such as anemia, heart illness, high blood pressure, liver disease, nasal polyps, throat problem, stomach problem, or intestinal problem before using this drug.

NSAID drugs, such as ketorolac, might cause kidney difficulties in certain people. If you're dehydrated, have heart failure or kidney illness, are an older adult, or take certain medications, you're more likely to have problems. To avoid dehydration, drink plenty of fluids as advised by your doctor, and report any changes in the amount of urine to your doctor right away.

This medication may cause dizziness or drowsiness. You may become dizzy or sleepy if you consume alcohol or cannabis. Do not drive, operate machinery, or engage in any other activity that requires attentiveness until you are sure you can do so safely. Alcoholic beverages should be avoided. If you use cannabis, talk to your doctor.

This medication has the potential to induce stomach bleeding. Consumption of alcohol and tobacco on a regular basis, particularly when coupled with this drug, may raise your risk of stomach bleeding. This drug could make you more sun-sensitive. Spend as little time as possible in the sun. Sunlamps and tanning booths should be avoided. When you're outside, use sunscreen and wear protective gear. If you get sunburned or notice skin redness, call your doctor right away.

Drug Interactions

Aliskiren, ACE inhibitors such as captopril and lisinopril, angiotensin II receptor blockers, lithium, methotrexate, probenecid, corticosteroids, and other drugs that impact the kidneys are some of the items that may interact with this drug.

When combined with other drugs that can cause bleeding, this medication can increase the risk of bleeding. Antiplatelet medications like clopidogrel and blood thinners are examples.

Contraindications

Asthma is caused by hypersensitivity to the active component in aspirin or other NSAIDs. Dehydration or hypovolaemia. Patients with a high risk of bleeding should not be given postoperatively. Dosage & Administration

Oral
Moderate to severe pain
Adult: 10 mg every 4-6 hr. Max: 40 mg/day. Max duration: 7 days.
Elderly: 10 mg every 6-8 hr. Max duration: 7 days.
Parenteral
Moderate to severe pain
Adult: 60 mg as a single dose via IM inj or 30 mg as a single IV dose. Alternatively, 30 mg every 6 hr via IM or IV admin up to a max of 120 mg daily. Halve the doses in patients weighing

Pregnancy & Lactation

This medicine is not allowed during pregnancy. Do not use it if you are pregnant. It can be absorbed through the skin and lungs caused can damage your unborn child’s organs and cause congenital disabilities. Strict effective birth control during treatment and for six months after stopping this medicine. If you do become pregnant, stop taking this medicine and discuss your doctor right away.

There is no specific information on whether this medicine passes into breast milk or not. Considering the possible risks for the children, breastfeeding while using this medicine is not recommended and at least two weeks after the last dose. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.
