Nach der Einnahme dieses Medikaments kann es sein, dass Ihre Sicht vorübergehend verschwommen ist. Fahren Sie nicht, bedienen Sie keine Maschinen und üben Sie keine andere Tätigkeit aus, die eine klare Sicht erfordert, bis Sie sicher sind, dass Sie dies sicher tun können.
Wenn Ihr Kind jünger als drei Jahre ist, nehmen Sie dieses Medikament nicht ein, es sei denn, Ihr Arzt empfiehlt es Ihnen.

Drug Interactions
In Kombination mit oralen Antidiabetika kann dieses Arzneimittel die Thrombozytenzahl senken.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt vor der Anwendung dieses Arzneimittels über alle verschreibungspflichtigen und nicht verschreibungspflichtigen Medikamente, wie z. B. pflanzliche Nahrungsergänzungsmittel.
Verstärkt die Wirkung von Beruhigungsmitteln, Hypnotika, Antihistaminika und Alkohol auf das Zentralnervensystem.
Contraindications
Akuter Asthmaanfall.
Mode of actions
Ketotifen hemmt selektiv und nicht-kompetitiv die Freisetzung von Mediatoren aus Zellen, die an Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen beteiligt sind. Es fungiert auch als Mastzellstabilisator.
Dosage & Administration
Erwachsener: PO: Tablette:
Asthmaprophylaxe; Allergische Erkrankungen: 1 mg zweimal täglich, bei Bedarf bis zu 2 mg zweimal täglich.
Sirup:
6 Monate bis 3 Jahre:
0,25 ml/kg Körpergewicht, zweimal täglich (einmal morgens und einmal abends).
Pregnancy & Lactation
Obwohl Reproduktionsstudien an Tieren eine nachteilige Wirkung auf den Fötus gezeigt haben und es keine ausreichenden und gut kontrollierten Studien bei schwangeren Frauen gibt, kann dieses Arzneimittel trotz möglicher Risiken während der Schwangerschaft nur dann angewendet werden, wenn dies unbedingt erforderlich ist.
Bei Müttern eines Neugeborenen, die dieses Arzneimittel in den letzten drei Monaten der Schwangerschaft eingenommen haben, kann es selten zu Symptomen wie Schläfrigkeit, Muskelsteifheit oder Zittern, Schwierigkeiten beim Füttern oder Atmen und ständigem Weinen kommen. Wenn Sie eines dieser Symptome bei Ihrem Baby bemerken, insbesondere im ersten Monat, informieren Sie sofort den Arzt.
Dieses Arzneimittel geht in die Muttermilch über. Sprechen Sie vor dem Stillen mit Ihrem Arzt.
