Precautions and warnings

Side-effects
- العدوى الفيروسية (البرد/الأنفلونزا)؛ الصداع والدوخة والنعاس والتعب. الغثيان وعسر الهضم وعسر الطمث.
Drug Interactions
قد تتأثر بعض الاختبارات المعملية، مثل اختبار حساسية الجلد، بهذا الدواء، مما قد يؤدي إلى نتائج اختبار خاطئة. تأكد من أن موظفي المختبر وجميع أطبائك على علم بأنك تتناول هذا الدواء.
إذا كنت تستخدم فيكسوفينادين مع الكيتوكونازول أو الاريثروميسين، قد ترتفع مستويات البلازما من فيكسوفينادين. مضادات الكولين الأخرى ومثبطات الجهاز العصبي المركزي قد تزيد من آثارها السلبية. مضادات الذهان (الفينوثيازينات) قد يكون لها تأثير عدم انتظام ضربات القلب. تجنب أخذهم معا. قد تنخفض فعالية بيتاهستين. قد يتم تعزيز عمل فيكسوفينادين المضاد للكولين بواسطة البراملينتيد. قد يتم تحسين التوافر البيولوجي للفيراباميل. ريفامبين لديه القدرة على تقليل الفعالية.
Contraindications

Mode of actions
على الخلايا المستجيبة في الجهاز الهضمي والأوعية الدموية والجهاز التنفسي، يعتبر فيكسوفينادين، وهو مستقلب نشط للتيرفينادين، خصمًا تنافسيًا لمستقبلات الهيستامين H1 المحيطية.
Dosage & Administration
الكبار:
التهاب الأنف التحسسي: 120 مجم مرة واحدة يومياً أو 60 مجم مرتين يومياً
الشرى: 180 مجم مرة واحدة يومياً
الأطفال:
من 2 إلى 11 سنة: 30 مجم (ملعقة واحدة) أو 5 مل مرتين يومياً
من 6 أشهر إلى سنتين: 15 ملغ (نصف ملعقة) أو 2.5 مل مرتين يومياً
Pregnancy & Lactation
على الرغم من أن دراسات التكاثر الحيواني أظهرت تأثيرًا سلبيًا على الجنين ولا توجد دراسات كافية ومراقبة بشكل جيد عند النساء الحوامل، إلا أنه خلال فترة الحمل، يمكن استخدام هذا الدواء فقط عندما تكون هناك حاجة إليه بالتأكيد على الرغم من المخاطر المحتملة.
نادراً ما تظهر على الأمهات اللاتي لديهن طفل حديث الولادة والذين استخدموا هذا الدواء خلال الأشهر الثلاثة الأخيرة من الحمل أعراض بما في ذلك النعاس، وتصلب العضلات أو الارتعاش، ومشاكل التغذية أو التنفس، والبكاء المستمر. إذا لاحظت أياً من هذه الأعراض لدى طفلك خاصة خلال شهره الأول، أخبري الطبيب فوراً.
