Precautions and warnings
اس دوا کو استعمال کرنے سے پہلے، اپنے ڈاکٹر کو اپنی طبی تاریخ کے بارے میں بتائیں، خاص طور پر اگر آپ کو گردوں کی بیماری ہے، آپ حاملہ ہیں، یا ایسی ماں ہیں جو اپنے بچے کو دودھ پلاتی ہے۔
اپنے ڈاکٹر یا ڈینٹسٹ کو ان تمام پروڈکٹس کے بارے میں بتائیں جو آپ سرجری سے پہلے استعمال کرتے ہیں بشمول نسخے کی دوائیں، غیر نسخے کی دوائیں، اور جڑی بوٹیوں کی مصنوعات۔

Side-effects
- وائرل انفیکشن (زکام/فلو)؛ سر درد، چکر آنا، غنودگی، تھکاوٹ؛ متلی، dyspepsia، dysmenorrhea.
Drug Interactions
کچھ لیبارٹری ٹیسٹ، جیسے الرجی کی جلد کی جانچ، اس دوا سے متاثر ہو سکتی ہے، جو ممکنہ طور پر ٹیسٹ کے غلط نتائج کا باعث بنتی ہے۔ اس بات کو یقینی بنائیں کہ آپ کے لیبارٹری کے اہلکار اور آپ کے تمام ڈاکٹر اس بات سے آگاہ ہیں کہ آپ یہ دوا لے رہے ہیں۔
اگر آپ ketoconazole یا erythromycin کے ساتھ fexofenadine استعمال کرتے ہیں تو آپ کے پلازما میں fexofenadine کی سطح بڑھ سکتی ہے۔ دیگر anticholinergics اور CNS ڈپریشن اپنے منفی اثرات کو تیز کر سکتے ہیں۔ اینٹی سائیکوٹکس (فینوتھیزائنز) کا اریتھموجینک اثر ہوسکتا ہے۔ ان کو ساتھ لے جانے سے گریز کریں۔ Betahistine کی افادیت کم ہو سکتی ہے۔ Fexofenadine کے anticholinergic اثر کو پراملینٹائڈ کے ذریعے بڑھایا جا سکتا ہے۔ Verapamil کی حیاتیاتی دستیابی بہتر ہو سکتی ہے۔ Rifampin میں افادیت کو کم کرنے کی صلاحیت ہے۔

Mode of actions
GI ٹریکٹ، خون کی نالیوں، اور سانس کی نالی کے انفیکٹر سیلز پر، فیکسوفیناڈائن، ٹیرفیناڈین کا ایک فعال میٹابولائٹ، ایک مسابقتی پیریفرل ہسٹامین H1-رسیپٹر مخالف ہے۔
Dosage & Administration
بالغ:
الرجک ناک کی سوزش: دن میں ایک بار 120 ملی گرام یا دن میں دو بار 60 ملی گرام
چھپاکی: دن میں ایک بار 180 ملی گرام
بچے:
2-11 سال: 30 ملی گرام (1 چمچ) یا 5 ملی لیٹر دن میں دو بار
6 ماہ سے 2 سال: 15 ملی گرام (1/2 چمچ) یا 2.5 ملی لیٹر دن میں دو بار
Pregnancy & Lactation
اگرچہ جانوروں کی تولیدی مطالعات نے جنین پر منفی اثر دکھایا ہے اور حاملہ خواتین میں کوئی مناسب اور اچھی طرح سے کنٹرول شدہ مطالعہ نہیں ہیں، لیکن حمل کے دوران، اس دوا کو ممکنہ خطرات کے باوجود اس وقت استعمال کیا جا سکتا ہے جب یقینی طور پر ضرورت ہو۔
نوزائیدہ بچے کے ساتھ مائیں جنہوں نے حمل کے آخری 3 مہینوں کے دوران اس دوا کا استعمال کیا ہے وہ شاذ و نادر ہی علامات پیدا کر سکتی ہیں جن میں غنودگی، پٹھوں کی اکڑن یا لرزش، کھانا کھلانے یا سانس لینے میں دشواری، مسلسل رونا شامل ہیں۔ اگر آپ کو اپنے بچے کی ان علامات میں سے کوئی خاص طور پر اس کے پہلے مہینے کے دوران نظر آتی ہے تو فوراً ڈاکٹر کو بتائیں۔
یہ دوا چھاتی کے دودھ میں جاتی ہے۔ دودھ پلانے سے پہلے اپنے ڈاکٹر سے بات کریں۔
