Precautions and warnings

Side-effects
- 皮膚過敏反應。 眼科：灼熱感、刺痛感、結膜炎、角膜潰瘍、刺激、結膜充血。 發炎結膜的全身性吸收。 可能致命：史蒂文斯-約翰遜症候群。
Drug Interactions
PABA 和普魯卡因等局部麻醉劑會幹擾磺胺類藥物的作用。 如果眼睛中有膿液，PABA（存在於膿液中）會與磺胺醋酰胺競爭並降低其有效性。
Mode of actions
磺胺醋醯胺可以阻止多種細菌的生長，包括革蘭氏陽性菌和革蘭氏陰性菌。 它的作用是乾擾細菌製造核酸的方式，阻止 PABA 轉化為細菌重要的輔酶二氫葉酸。

Pregnancy & Lactation
儘管動物生殖研究顯示對胎兒有不良影響，並且在孕婦中沒有充分且良好對照的研究，但在懷孕期間，儘管存在潛在風險，但在確實需要時可以使用該藥物。
在懷孕最後 3 個月內使用這種藥物的新生兒母親可能很少會出現困倦、肌肉僵硬或顫抖、餵食或呼吸困難、持續哭泣等症狀。 如果您發現寶寶有任何這些症狀，尤其是在第一個月內，請立即告訴醫生。
