Precautions and warnings
People taking this medicine may have problems with their kidneys, low blood pressure, or imbalanced electrolytes. It is important to regularly check how well your kidneys are working and to monitor potassium levels in your blood. If you have diabetes, your blood sugar levels should also be checked, especially if your potassium is low. There is a higher chance of getting low white blood cell counts (neutropenia or agranulocytosis) if your immune system is weak. If you experience swelling of the face, hands, lips, tongue, throat, or voice box (signs of angioedema), stop taking the medicine right away and seek medical help.

Drug Interactions
Using this medication with other blood pressure medicines or diuretics can increase their effects. There's a higher risk of low potassium (hypokalaemia) if it's taken with corticosteroids, corticotropin, or amphotericin.
**Warning:** It can raise the risk of serious lithium poisoning. Low potassium can also make side effects from digitalis (a heart medicine) more dangerous.

Mode of actions
Perindopril is a type of medicine called an ACE inhibitor. It works by stopping the body from turning angiotensin I into angiotensin II, which helps lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and reducing the workload on the heart. It also blocks an enzyme called kininase, which affects certain body chemicals like bradykinin.
Indapamide is another medicine that helps lower blood pressure. It is related to sulfonamides and has a special chemical structure called an indole ring. Indapamide works by stopping the kidneys from reabsorbing sodium in a specific area, so more sodium and water are removed in urine. This increases the amount of urine and helps reduce blood pressure.
Dosage & Administration
Adult: PO Per tab contains perindopril 4 mg and indapamide 1.25 mg: 1 tab once daily.

Pregnancy & Lactation
This medicine is not allowed during pregnancy. Do not use it if you are pregnant. It can be absorbed through the skin and lungs caused can damage your unborn child’s organs and cause congenital disabilities. Strict effective birth control during treatment and for six months after stopping this medicine. If you do become pregnant, stop taking this medicine and discuss your doctor right away.
There is no specific information on whether this medicine passes into breast milk or not. Considering the possible risks for the children, breastfeeding while using this medicine is not recommended and at least two weeks after the last dose. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.
