Drug Interactions
اس دوا کو دوسری دوائیوں کے ساتھ لینے سے جو مرکزی اعصابی نظام کو افسردہ کرتی ہیں (جیسے کہ سکون آور ادویات یا ٹرانکوئلائزر) غنودگی، چکر آنا، یا سست سانس لینے سے متعلق ضمنی اثرات کو بڑھا سکتے ہیں۔
Mode of actions
Levocetirizine cetirizine کی ایک شکل ہے جو پیٹ اور آنتوں، خون کی نالیوں اور سانس لینے کے راستے میں H1-رسیپٹر سائٹس پر ہسٹامین کو روک کر کام کرتی ہے۔ اس سے الرجی کی علامات کو کم کرنے میں مدد ملتی ہے۔
Dosage & Administration
• بالغ اور 12 سال اور اس سے زیادہ عمر کے بچے: دن میں ایک بار 5mg
6 سے 11 سال کے بچے: 2.5 ملی گرام (1/2 گولی یا 1 چائے کا چمچ زبانی محلول) دن میں ایک بار
6 ماہ سے 5 سال کی عمر کے بچے: 1.25 ملی گرام (1/2 چائے کا چمچ زبانی محلول) دن میں ایک بار

اگرچہ جانوروں کی تولیدی تحقیق نے منفی اثر دکھایا ہے یہاں تک کہ بعض اوقات جنین پر ہونے والے خطرے کو ظاہر کرنے سے بھی قاصر ہیں اور حاملہ خواتین میں کوئی مناسب اور اچھی طرح سے کنٹرول شدہ مطالعہ نہیں ہیں، لیکن حمل کے دوران، اس دوا کو صرف اس وقت استعمال کیا جا سکتا ہے جب یقینی طور پر ضرورت ہو۔
