Precautions and warnings
सेरेब्रोवास्कुलर बीमारियाँ, मिर्गी, गंभीर मानसिक विकार, भ्रम की स्थिति, पेप्टिक अल्सर का इतिहास, मानसिक अवसाद, मधुमेह (डीएम), यकृत या गुर्दे की हानि, बुजुर्ग और गर्भावस्था सभी कारकों पर विचार करना चाहिए। अत्यधिक निकासी से बचना चाहिए.

Drug Interactions
एंटीहाइपरटेन्सिव दवाएं हाइपोटेंशन प्रभाव को बढ़ा सकती हैं। पार्किंसंस के रोगियों में, एक ही समय में लेवोडोपा लेने से भटकाव, आंदोलन और मतिभ्रम हो सकता है।
सीएनएस अवसादक और अल्कोहल सीएनएस प्रभाव को बढ़ा सकते हैं, जिससे वे संभावित रूप से घातक हो सकते हैं।
Contraindications
सक्रिय पेप्टिक अल्सर रोग अतिसंवेदनशीलता का कारण बनता है।
Mode of actions
बैक्लोफ़ेन एक एंटीस्पास्मोडिक दवा है। रीढ़ की हड्डी के स्तर पर, यह मोनोसिनेप्टिक और पॉलीसिनेप्टिक दोनों प्रतिक्रियाओं को रोकता है।
Dosage & Administration
मौखिक
गंभीर दीर्घकालिक ऐंठन
वयस्क: प्रारंभ में, 3 दिनों के लिए 5 मिलीग्राम टीआईडी को 3 दिनों के लिए 10 मिलीग्राम टीआईडी तक बढ़ाया गया, फिर समान वृद्धि और अंतराल में जब तक कि 20 मिलीग्राम टीआईडी तक नहीं पहुंच जाता या वांछित प्रभाव प्राप्त नहीं हो जाता। अधिकतम: प्रतिदिन 100 मिलीग्राम।
बच्चा: प्रतिदिन 0.75-2 मिलीग्राम/किग्रा. प्रतिदिन 2.5 मिलीग्राम से 4 बार शुरुआत करें, वांछित प्रभाव प्राप्त होने तक हर 3 दिन में धीरे-धीरे बढ़ाएं। रखरखाव: 6-10 वर्ष: प्रतिदिन 30-60 मिलीग्राम; 2-6 वर्ष: प्रतिदिन 20-30 मिलीग्राम; 12 माह-2 वर्ष: प्रतिदिन 10-20 मिलीग्राम। अधिकतम: >10 वर्ष: 2.5 मिलीग्राम/किग्रा प्रतिदिन।
बुजुर्ग: कम खुराक से शुरुआत करें।
Pregnancy & Lactation
यद्यपि पशु प्रजनन अध्ययनों ने भ्रूण पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव दिखाया है और गर्भवती महिलाओं में कोई पर्याप्त और अच्छी तरह से नियंत्रित अध्ययन नहीं हैं, लेकिन गर्भावस्था के दौरान, संभावित जोखिमों के बावजूद, इस दवा का उपयोग केवल तभी किया जा सकता है जब इसकी आवश्यकता हो।
जिन माताओं के नवजात शिशु हैं, जिन्होंने गर्भावस्था के आखिरी 3 महीनों के दौरान इस दवा का उपयोग किया है, उनमें शायद ही कभी उनींदापन, मांसपेशियों में अकड़न या कंपकंपी, दूध पीने या सांस लेने में परेशानी, लगातार रोना जैसे लक्षण पैदा हो सकते हैं। यदि आपको विशेष रूप से उनके पहले महीने के दौरान अपने बच्चे में इनमें से कोई भी लक्षण दिखाई देता है, तो तुरंत डॉक्टर को बताएं।
यह दवा स्तन के दूध में पारित हो जाती है। स्तनपान कराने से पहले अपने डॉक्टर से बात करें।
