Precautions and warnings
Ne pas utiliser si vous souffrez d'hyperthyroïdie (hyperthyroïdie), de problèmes cardiaques tels qu'une maladie cardiaque, d'un rythme cardiaque irrégulier ou d'un rythme cardiaque rapide. Évitez si vous souffrez de maladies des vaisseaux sanguins comme le durcissement des artères (artériosclérose), l'hypertension artérielle ou les anévrismes. Il doit également être évité chez les personnes souffrant de diabète, de glaucome à angle fermé, de problèmes rénaux ou d'hypertrophie de la prostate. Ne pas utiliser pendant la grossesse ou l'allaitement.

- palpitations et arrêt cardiaque
- hypotension et étourdissements
- évanouissements et bouffées vasomotrices. Nécrose et desquamation des tissus ; nécrose myocardique et artérielle.
Drug Interactions
Il existe un risque plus élevé d'hypertension artérielle et de rythmes cardiaques anormaux lorsque ce médicament est utilisé avec des glycosides cardiaques, de la quinidine ou des antidépresseurs tricycliques (ATC). Le risque de constriction des vaisseaux sanguins augmente s’il est administré avec des alcaloïdes de l’ergot de seigle ou de l’ocytocine. Le prendre avec des inhibiteurs de la MAO (IMAO) peut provoquer une augmentation dangereuse de la tension artérielle (crise hypertensive). Il peut également interagir avec des anesthésiques comme le cyclopropane, l'halothane et d'autres anesthésiques halogénés, ainsi qu'avec des médicaments qui abaissent la tension artérielle.
Contraindications
Hypertension artérielle sévère, phéochromocytome.
Mode of actions
La fexofénadine est un médicament issu d'un autre médicament appelé terfénadine. Il agit en bloquant les récepteurs de l'histamine H1 en dehors du cerveau, ce qui aide à réduire les symptômes d'allergie dans le système digestif, les vaisseaux sanguins et les voies respiratoires.
La pseudoéphédrine agit en activant les récepteurs adrénergiques alpha (?) et bêta (?). Lorsqu'il stimule les récepteurs ?-adrénergiques de la muqueuse du nez et des voies respiratoires, il provoque un resserrement des vaisseaux sanguins, ce qui réduit l'enflure et la congestion. Lorsqu'il active les récepteurs ?-adrénergiques, il détend les muscles des voies respiratoires, vous aidant à mieux respirer, et augmente également votre fréquence cardiaque et la force de votre cœur.
Dosage & Administration
Adultes et enfants de 12 ans et plus : 1 comprimé deux fois par jour administré à jeun avec de l'eau.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Bien que des études sur la reproduction animale aient montré un effet indésirable sur le fœtus et qu'il n'existe pas d'études adéquates et bien contrôlées chez la femme enceinte, ce médicament peut être utilisé pendant la grossesse juste lorsque cela est absolument nécessaire, malgré les risques potentiels.
Les mères d'un nouveau-né qui ont utilisé ce médicament au cours des 3 derniers mois de leur grossesse peuvent rarement créer des symptômes tels que somnolence, raideur ou tremblements musculaires, troubles de l'alimentation ou de la respiration, pleurs constants. Si vous remarquez l'un de ces symptômes chez votre bébé, en particulier au cours de son premier mois, informez-en immédiatement le médecin.
Ce médicament passe dans le lait maternel. Parlez-en à votre médecin avant d'allaiter.
