**Gentamicin:**
Die Einnahme von Gentamicin zusammen mit anderen Arzneimitteln, die die Nerven oder Nieren schädigen können – wie Cephalosporine, Methicillin, Amphotericin B, Ciclosporin, Cisplatin, starke Diuretika (wie Ethacrynsäure oder Furosemid) oder Muskelrelaxantien (z. B. Succinylcholin, Tubocurarin) – kann das Risiko von Nebenwirkungen erhöhen. Gentamicin kann dazu führen, dass Blutverdünner (z. B. Warfarin, Phenindion) stärker wirken. Es kann die Wirkung von Arzneimitteln wie Neostigmin und Pyridostigmin verringern. Das Risiko eines niedrigen Kalziumspiegels im Blut ist höher, wenn es zusammen mit Bisphosphonaten eingenommen wird, und das Risiko einer Muskelschwäche steigt, wenn es zusammen mit Botulinumtoxin eingenommen wird. Bei Neugeborenen kann Indometacin zu höheren Gentamicinspiegeln im Blut führen.
**Hydrocortison:**
Thiaziddiuretika können den durch Hydrocortison verursachten hohen Blutzucker und niedrigen Kaliumspiegel im Blut verschlimmern. Die gleichzeitige Einnahme nichtsteroidaler entzündungshemmender Arzneimittel (NSAIDs) erhöht das Risiko für Magengeschwüre oder Blutungen. Hydrocortison kann die Wirkungsweise von Antikoagulanzien verändern, und Menschen müssen möglicherweise ihre Dosen von Diabetes- oder Blutdruckmedikamenten erhöhen. Es senkt den Gehalt an Salicylaten und Antimuskarinika im Blut und Alkoholkonsum kann die Magenreizung verschlimmern. Medikamente wie Carbamazepin, Phenytoin, Primidon, Barbiturate und Rifampicin können die Wirkung von Hydrocortison verringern. Bei gleichzeitiger Einnahme von Ciclosporin erhöhen beide Arzneimittel gegenseitig den Blutspiegel. Hydrocortison wirkt möglicherweise stärker bei Frauen, die Östrogen oder Antibabypillen einnehmen.
Nicht anwenden, wenn bei Ihnen in der Vergangenheit allergische Reaktionen auf Aminoglykoside aufgetreten sind, Sie schwanger sind oder Leberprobleme haben.
Gentamicin ist ein Aminoglykosid-Antibiotikum, das durch Bindung an die 30er- und 50er-Teile der Ribosomen in Bakterien wirkt. Dies hindert die Bakterien daran, die benötigten Proteine herzustellen, was ihre Zellmembran schädigt und sie schließlich tötet.
Hydrocortison ist ein Kortikosteroid-Medikament, das eingesetzt wird, weil es Entzündungen reduziert und das Immunsystem unterdrückt. Dies geschieht dadurch, dass bestimmte weiße Blutkörperchen daran gehindert werden, sich in entzündete Bereiche zu bewegen, und dass die Blutgefäße weniger undicht werden. Hydrocortison kann auch als Ersatz für Hormone bei Menschen eingesetzt werden, die nicht genug davon selbst herstellen, beispielsweise bei Menschen mit Nebennierenrindeninsuffizienz.
Oberflächliche Augeninfektionen Als 0,3 %ige Lösung: 1-2 Tropfen alle 4 Stunden einträufeln, in schweren Fällen bis zu 2 Tropfen pro Stunde.
Obwohl Reproduktionsstudien an Tieren eine nachteilige Wirkung auf den Fötus gezeigt haben und es keine ausreichenden und gut kontrollierten Studien bei schwangeren Frauen gibt, kann dieses Arzneimittel trotz möglicher Risiken während der Schwangerschaft nur dann angewendet werden, wenn dies unbedingt erforderlich ist.
Bei Müttern eines Neugeborenen, die dieses Arzneimittel in den letzten drei Monaten der Schwangerschaft eingenommen haben, kann es selten zu Symptomen wie Schläfrigkeit, Muskelsteifheit oder Zittern, Schwierigkeiten beim Füttern oder Atmen und ständigem Weinen kommen. Wenn Sie eines dieser Symptome bei Ihrem Baby bemerken, insbesondere im ersten Monat, informieren Sie sofort den Arzt.
Dieses Arzneimittel geht in die Muttermilch über. Sprechen Sie vor dem Stillen mit Ihrem Arzt.
