Neuropen is indicated for
- 癲癇、神經性疼痛、部分癲癇發作、熱潮紅、纖維肌痛、帶狀皰疹後神經痛、糖尿病神經病變引起的疼痛。
Precautions and warnings
謹慎停止或更換其他癲癇藥物，特別是如果您有心理健康問題、腎臟問題或懷孕史。 至少在 7 天內逐漸減少劑量，以避免更頻繁的癲癇發作。
Side-effects
- 嗜睡、頭暈、共濟失調、虛弱、感覺異常、疲倦、頭痛；眼球震顫，複視；噁心、嘔吐、體重增加、消化不良；鼻炎;震顫；白血球減少症;改變 LFT；史蒂文斯-約翰遜症候群。
Drug Interactions
與嗎啡一起服用可能會提高血液中的嗎啡水平。 如果您與抗酸劑一起服用，您的身體可能也無法吸收它。

Mode of actions

Dosage & Administration
成人： PO：神經性疼痛：第 1 天 300 mg，第 2 天 300 mg 兩次，第 3 天 300 mg 三次，然後根據反應逐步增加劑量，每天 300 mg，分三次劑量增加到每天最大 1800 mg。
局部性癲癇發作/癲癇：第1天300 mg，第2天300 mg兩次，第3天300 mg三次，然後根據反應逐步增加劑量，每天300 mg，分三次劑量增加到每天最大2400 mg。
兒童：6-12歲 - 第一天 10 mg/kg，第 2 天 20 mg/kg，然後每天 25-35 mg/kg，分 3 次服用。 維持劑量為每天900毫克（體重26-36公斤）或每天1.2克（體重37-50公斤）。
腎功能不全：血液透析：負荷劑量：300-400 mg，接著每 4 小時血液透析後 200-300 mg。

Pregnancy & Lactation
儘管動物生殖研究顯示對胎兒有不良影響，並且在孕婦中沒有充分且良好對照的研究，但在懷孕期間，儘管存在潛在風險，但在確實需要時可以使用該藥物。
