Precautions and warnings

Side-effects
- 頭痛、頭暈。 很少有肝炎、血小板減少、白血球減少、過敏、精神錯亂、男性女乳症、陽痿、嗜睡、眩暈、幻覺。 潛在致命：過敏反應、超敏反應。
Drug Interactions
有些產品需要胃酸才能被身體充分吸收。 由於雷尼替丁會降低胃酸，因此可能會影響這些藥物的療效。 阿扎那韋、達沙替尼、地拉韋啶和某些唑類抗黴菌藥物（如伊曲康唑、酮康唑和帕唑帕尼）均屬於受影響的產品。
此藥不應與其他含有雷尼替丁或其他 H2 阻斷劑（如西咪替丁、法莫替丁或尼札替丁）的藥物合併使用。
Mode of actions
雷尼替丁透過競爭性阻斷胃壁細胞 H2 受體上的組織胺來減少胃酸排出。 胃蛋白酶分泌、五肽胃泌素刺激的內因子分泌及血清胃泌素不受影響。
Dosage & Administration
成人：PO 良性胃和十二指腸潰瘍 初始：睡前服用 300 mg，或每天兩次 150 mg，持續 4-8 週，視病情而定。
用於預防 NSAID 相關潰瘍：150 mg bid。
根除幽門螺旋桿菌感染 300 mg 每日一次或 150 mg 每日兩次，含阿莫西林和甲硝唑，持續 2 週。 可以繼續使用雷尼替丁 2 週。
GERD 150 mg，每日兩次，或睡前 300 mg，持續 8 週。 重度：150 mg，每天 4 次，持續 12 週。 病理性分泌過多狀況初始：150 mg，2-3 次/天，如果需要，最多 6 g/天。
全身麻醉期間吸酸 150 mg，麻醉誘導前 2 小時，最好在前一天晚上追加劑量。
慢性發作性消化不良 150 mg，每天兩次，持續 6 週。
短期症狀性消化不良 75 mg，如果需要，每天最多 4 劑。 最長：每次連續使用 2 週。
NSAID 治療期間預防，每次 150 mg，每日兩次。
IV 病理性分泌過多狀況 初始：1 mg/kg/hr，如果需要，可在 4 小時後緩慢增加。 上消化道應激性潰瘍 初始劑量：透過注射 50 mg，然後透過輸注 125-250 mcg/kg/hr，然後在恢復口服餵食後轉為 PO 150 mg，每天兩次。
IV/IM 全身麻醉期間吸酸 50 mg，麻醉誘導前 45-60 分鐘。
Pregnancy & Lactation
雖然動物生殖研究顯示出不良影響，甚至有時無法證明對胎兒的風險，並且在孕婦中沒有充分和良好對照的研究，但在懷孕期間，這種藥物可以在確實需要時使用。
