Precautions and warnings

Drug Interactions
Дефероксамин, гормональные контрацептивы, флуфеназин, варфарин, элементарное железо, салицилаты, варфарин, флуфеназин, дисульфирам, мексилетин и витамин B12 могут взаимодействовать с витамином С. При приеме этого лекарства следует проявлять особую осторожность.
Недостаточность витамина С часто встречается среди тех, кто регулярно употребляет алкоголь, особенно среди тех, кто страдает другими заболеваниями. Чтобы восстановить уровень витамина С до нормального уровня, этим людям, возможно, придется лечиться дольше, чем обычно.
Витамин С накапливается в высоких концентрациях в раковых клетках. Принимайте высокие дозы витамина С только под наблюдением своего онколога, пока не станет доступна дополнительная информация.
Длительное заболевание почек связано с повышенным риском недостаточности витамина С. У некоторых людей прием витамина С может увеличить количество оксалатов в моче. У людей с заболеванием почек слишком большое количество оксалатов в моче может повысить вероятность почечной недостаточности.
Камни в почках. Прием большого количества витамина С может повысить вероятность образования камней в почках. Витамин С не следует использовать в количествах, превышающих те, которые содержатся в основных поливитаминах.
Употребление табака, включая курение и жевание, снижает уровень витамина С. Тем, кто курит или жует табак, следует увеличить потребление витамина С.
Contraindications

Кроме того, нет убедительных доказательств в поддержку использования витамина С при лечении COVID-19.
Mode of actions
Витамин С необходим для синтеза коллагена и восстановления тканей, а также играет роль в реакциях окисления/восстановления и других метаболических путях, таких как образование катехоламинов, карнитина и стероидов. Он также способствует превращению фолиевой кислоты в фолиниевую кислоту.
Dosage & Administration
Оральный
Цинга
Взрослые: Профилактика: 25–75 мг в день. 4 таблетки 2–3 раза в день. Лечение: >250 мг в день в несколько приемов. Также может быть предоставлено через администратора IM/IV/SC. 250–500 мг внутривенно каждый день/два раза в день в течение как минимум 2 недель.
Дети: от 1 месяца до 4 лет: 125–250 мг в день; 4–12 лет: 250–500 мг в день; 12–18 лет: 500–1 г в день. Дозы следует вводить в 1-2 приема.
Талассемия
Взрослые: 100–200 мг в день вместе с десфериоксамином.
Дети: 100–200 мг в день вместе с десферриоксамином.
Метаболические нарушения
Дети: новорожденные: 50–200 мг в день, при необходимости откорректируйте; От 1 месяца до 18 лет: 200–400 мг в день в 1–2 приема, может потребоваться доза до 1 г в день.
Взрослый:
Простуда: 1 г или более в день в несколько приемов, т.е. 4 таблетки в день.
При заживлении ран: 2–4 таблетки 2–3 раза в день.
При других состояниях: 1-2 таблетки в день.
Дети: < 4 лет: 1/4 дозы для взрослых, 4–12 лет: 1/2 дозы для взрослых.
По 1 шипучей таблетке в день во время еды или по указанию врача. Растворите одну таблетку в половине стакана (100 мл) воды и сразу выпейте.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Адекватные и хорошо контролируемые исследования на людях не смогли продемонстрировать риск для плода в первом триместре беременности, а в более поздних триместрах недостаточно доказательств риска.
