Precautions and warnings
Jika penglihatan Anda kabur setelah menggunakan produk ini, jangan mengemudi atau menggunakan mesin sampai penglihatan Anda kembali normal. Jangan memakai lensa kontak saat memasang produk. Tunggu setidaknya 30 menit setelah menggunakan produk sebelum memasang kembali lensa kontak Anda.
Side-effects
- Kadang-kadang sensasi terbakar atau lengket ringan dan sangat jarang dilaporkan menyebabkan iritasi atau reaksi hipersensitivitas. Penglihatan kabur setelah aplikasi dapat terjadi.
Contraindications
Jangan gunakan obat ini jika Anda alergi, memiliki masalah tiroid, atau mengonsumsi litium dalam jangka waktu lama. Obat ini juga tidak boleh diberikan kepada bayi yang masih sangat kecil atau bayi baru lahir yang memiliki berat badan lahir rendah.
Mode of actions
Povidone-iodine merupakan salah satu jenis disinfektan yang dapat membunuh berbagai jenis kuman, antara lain bakteri, virus, jamur, protozoa, dan spora. Juga digunakan untuk membunuh kuman (mikrobisida) dan sebagai pelumas mata.
Dosage & Administration
Dewasa: 1 tetes 4 kali sehari atau sesuai kebutuhan, tergantung pada tingkat keparahan penyakit, untuk ditanamkan ke dalam kantung konjungtiva.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Obat ini tidak diperbolehkan selama kehamilan. Jangan gunakan jika Anda sedang hamil. Dapat diserap melalui kulit dan paru-paru sehingga dapat merusak organ tubuh anak Anda yang belum lahir dan menyebabkan cacat bawaan. Alat kontrasepsi yang efektif dan ketat selama pengobatan dan selama enam bulan setelah menghentikan obat ini. Jika Anda hamil, hentikan penggunaan obat ini dan segera diskusikan dengan dokter Anda.
Belum ada informasi spesifik apakah obat ini masuk ke dalam ASI atau tidak. Mengingat kemungkinan risiko pada anak-anak, menyusui saat menggunakan obat ini tidak dianjurkan dan setidaknya dua minggu setelah dosis terakhir. Konsultasikan dengan dokter Anda sebelum menyusui.
