Precautions and warnings
लीवर की समस्याएँ: लीवर की कार्यप्रणाली की नियमित जाँच करें। नवजात शिशुओं, गर्भवती महिलाओं और स्तनपान कराने वाली माताओं में सावधानी बरतें।
Side-effects
- पीलिया और जिगर की शिथिलता (प्रतिवर्ती); जीआई गड़बड़ी. IV: वेनोस्पास्म
- थ्रोम्बोफ्लोएबिटिस और हेमोलिसिस; हाइपोकैल्सीमिया। एससी/आईएम: ऊतक परिगलन। सामयिक: चकत्ते और जलन.
Drug Interactions
एंटीस्टाफिलोकोकल पेनिसिलिन के साथ उपयोग करने पर यह बेहतर काम करता है। सिप्रोफ्लोक्सासिन के साथ प्रयोग करने पर कम अच्छा (विरोधी) काम करता है।
Mode of actions
फ्यूसिडिक एसिड बैक्टीरिया को प्रोटीन बनाने से रोककर काम करता है। यह उस प्रक्रिया को अवरुद्ध करके करता है जो प्रोटीन के निर्माण खंडों को उनके स्थान पर ले जाती है, ताकि बैक्टीरिया बढ़ न सकें या जीवित न रह सकें।
Dosage & Administration
संवेदनशील संक्रमण वयस्क: 500 मिलीग्राम टीआईडी। तीव्र संक्रमणों में यह 1 ग्राम तक बढ़ सकता है।
बच्चा: 2 वर्ष: 1% आई ड्रॉप के रूप में: 7 दिनों के लिए हर 12 घंटे में प्रभावित आंख में 1 बूंद डालें।
Pregnancy & Lactation
यद्यपि पशु प्रजनन अध्ययनों ने भ्रूण पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव दिखाया है और गर्भवती महिलाओं में कोई पर्याप्त और अच्छी तरह से नियंत्रित अध्ययन नहीं हैं, लेकिन गर्भावस्था के दौरान, संभावित जोखिमों के बावजूद, इस दवा का उपयोग केवल तभी किया जा सकता है जब इसकी आवश्यकता हो।
जिन माताओं के नवजात शिशु हैं, जिन्होंने गर्भावस्था के आखिरी 3 महीनों के दौरान इस दवा का उपयोग किया है, उनमें शायद ही कभी उनींदापन, मांसपेशियों में अकड़न या कंपकंपी, दूध पीने या सांस लेने में परेशानी, लगातार रोना जैसे लक्षण पैदा हो सकते हैं। यदि आपको विशेष रूप से उनके पहले महीने के दौरान अपने बच्चे में इनमें से कोई भी लक्षण दिखाई देता है, तो तुरंत डॉक्टर को बताएं।
यह दवा स्तन के दूध में पारित हो जाती है। स्तनपान कराने से पहले अपने डॉक्टर से बात करें।
