The risk of kidney problems is higher if taken with ciclosporin or triamterene. If used with eye medications that contain steroids, diclofenac may increase the chance of serious corneal problems in people who already have significant corneal inflammation. Colestyramine and colestipol can lower how much diclofenac your body absorbs. Taking diclofenac after sucralfate can reduce its amount in your blood. Diclofenac eye drops may also make other eye medicines, like acetylcholine and carbachol, less effective. Finally, diclofenac may increase blood levels of lithium and digoxin.
