Precautions and warnings
Schwindel und Tinnitus sind Symptome einer Niereninsuffizienz. Wenn Sie Anzeichen von Ototoxizität, Neurotoxizität oder Überempfindlichkeit bemerken, brechen Sie die Einnahme ab; Wenn Sie stillen, beenden Sie die Anwendung. Die Behandlungsdauer von andgt;14 Tagen hat sich nicht als sicher erwiesen. Behalten Sie vor und während der Therapie Ihre Nierenfunktion im Auge.
Side-effects
- Tinnitus
- Schwindel; Ataxie und offensichtliche Taubheit. Potenziell tödlich: Ototoxizität
- Nephrotoxizität

Drug Interactions
Bei gleichzeitiger Einnahme kann Amphotericin B nephrotoxisch wirken und die Amikacin-Clearance einschränken.
Möglicherweise tödlich: Andere nephrotoxische oder ototoxische Arzneimittel haben verstärkte ototoxische oder nephrotoxische Wirkungen. Neuromuskuläre Blocker verbessern die neuromuskuläre Blockade. Starke Diuretika erhöhen das Risiko einer Ototoxizität.
Contraindications
Schwangerschaft, perforiertes Trommelfell, Myasthenia gravis, Überempfindlichkeit.
Mode of actions
Amikacin bindet an 30S-ribosomale Untereinheiten anfälliger Bakterien und hemmt so deren Proteinsynthese.
Dosage & Administration
Parenteral
Unkomplizierte Harnwegsinfektionen
Erwachsener: 250 mg 2-mal täglich, verabreicht über IM, IV-Injektion über 2-3 Minuten oder als IV-Infusion.
Schwere gramnegative Infektionen, die gegen Gentamicin und Tobramycin resistent sind
Erwachsener: 15 mg/kg täglich in gleichmäßig verteilten Dosen, alle 8 oder 12 Stunden über 7–10 Tage injiziert. Maximal: Bis zu 500 mg alle 8 Stunden bei lebensbedrohlichen Infektionen. Maximale kumulative Dosis: 15 g. Die Dosierung kann intramuskulär, als langsame intravenöse Injektion über 2–3 Minuten oder als intravenöse Infusion erfolgen.
Kind: 15 mg/kg täglich in gleichmäßig verteilten Dosen, alle 8 oder 12 Stunden über 7–10 Tage injiziert. Neugeborene: 10 mg/kg täglich in 2 Einzeldosen.
Eingeschränkte Nierenfunktion: Bei Patienten mit eingeschränkter Nierenfunktion sollte die Tagesdosis reduziert und/oder die Intervalle zwischen den Dosen verlängert werden, um eine Anreicherung des Arzneimittels zu vermeiden. Nachfolgend finden Sie einen einfachen Dosierungsplan für Nierenfunktionsstörungen:
Nierenfunktion Dosierungsplan
Leichte Beeinträchtigung 500 mg alle 18 Stunden
Mäßige Beeinträchtigung 500 mg alle 24 Stunden
Schwere Beeinträchtigung 250 mg alle 24 Stunden.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Dieses Arzneimittel ist während der Schwangerschaft nicht erlaubt. Verwenden Sie es nicht, wenn Sie schwanger sind. Es kann über die Haut und die Lunge aufgenommen werden und kann die Organe Ihres ungeborenen Kindes schädigen und zu angeborenen Behinderungen führen. Strenge wirksame Empfängnisverhütung während der Behandlung und für sechs Monate nach Absetzen dieses Arzneimittels. Wenn Sie schwanger werden, beenden Sie die Einnahme dieses Arzneimittels und sprechen Sie sofort mit Ihrem Arzt.
Es liegen keine spezifischen Informationen darüber vor, ob dieses Arzneimittel in die Muttermilch übergeht oder nicht. Angesichts der möglichen Risiken für die Kinder wird das Stillen während der Anwendung dieses Arzneimittels und mindestens zwei Wochen nach der letzten Dosis nicht empfohlen. Konsultieren Sie vor dem Stillen Ihren Arzt.
