Precautions and warnings
আপনার ডাক্তারকে বলুন যদি আপনার নিম্নলিখিত কোনো চিকিৎসা শর্ত থাকে: কিডনি রোগ, লিভারের রোগ, কিছু রক্তের ব্যাধি, ট্রাইমেথোপ্রিম বা সালফা ওষুধের কারণে রক্তের ব্যাধির ইতিহাস, ভিটামিনের ঘাটতি (ফোলেট বা ফলিক অ্যাসিড), গুরুতর অ্যালার্জি, হাঁপানি, অস্থি মজ্জার কার্যকারিতা হ্রাস, একটি বিপাকীয় ব্যাধি যেমন রক্তে পটাসিয়ামের উচ্চ মাত্রা বা কম মাত্রা।

Drug Interactions
"রক্ত পাতলাকারী" (যেমন ওয়ারফারিন), ডোফেটিলাইড, মেথেনামাইন এবং মেথোট্রেক্সেট হল কিছু পণ্য যা এই ওষুধের সাথে যোগাযোগ করতে পারে।
পাইরিমেথামিনের সহ-প্রশাসক মেগালোব্লাস্টিক অ্যানিমিয়া হতে পারে, যা মারাত্মক হতে পারে। সাইক্লোস্পোরিন কিডনির ক্ষতি করে।
Contraindications
সক্রিয় উপাদানের প্রতি অতিসংবেদনশীলতা, গুরুতর রেনাল বা হেপাটিক অপ্রতুলতা থাকলে রোগীর এড়ানো উচিত।
Mode of actions
এর উপাদানগুলির (সালফামেথক্সাজোল এবং ট্রাইমেথোপ্রিম) সমন্বয়মূলক কার্যকলাপগুলি সহ-ট্রাইমক্সাজোলে দশ দ্বারা গুণিত হয়। সালফামেথক্সাজোল PABA থেকে ডাইহাইড্রোফলিক অ্যাসিড তৈরিতে বাধা দেয়, ব্যাকটেরিয়া ফলিক অ্যাসিড সংশ্লেষণ এবং বিকাশকে বাধা দেয়। ট্রাইমেথোপ্রিম ফলিক অ্যাসিড পাথওয়ে এনজাইমগুলিকে ব্লক করে, ডাইহাইড্রোলিক অ্যাসিডকে টেট্রাহাইড্রোফোলেটে রূপান্তরিত হতে বাধা দেয়। E coli, Klebsiella spp., Enterobacter spp., M morganii, P mirabilis, P vulgaris, H influenzae, Strep pneumoniae, Pneumocystis (carinii) jiroveci, এবং Cyclospora spp. সকলেই কো-ট্রাইমক্সাজোলের জন্য সংবেদনশীল।
Dosage & Administration
প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: PO ট্যাবলেট: 2 ট্যাবলেট দিনে দুবার। গুরুতর ক্ষেত্রে, দিনে 3 বার। ডিএস ট্যাবলেট: 1টি ট্যাবলেট দিনে দুবার।
সাসপেনশন: 1-2 চা চামচ দিনে দুবার।
জিআই সংক্রমণ; রেসপি এবং মূত্রনালীর সংক্রমণ; সংবেদনশীল সংক্রমণ 960 মিলিগ্রাম দিনে দুবার, গুরুতর ক্ষেত্রে 2 বিভক্ত ডোজে 2.88 গ্রাম/দিন পর্যন্ত।
নিউমোসিস্টিস (ক্যারিনি) জিরোভেসি নিউমোনিয়া 120 মিলিগ্রাম/কেজি/দিন পর্যন্ত 2-4 বিভক্ত ডোজে 14-21 দিনের জন্য। এইডস রোগীদের সংক্রমণ প্রতিরোধ 960 মিলিগ্রাম/দিন।
শিশু: 6 সপ্তাহ-5 মাস: 120 মিলিগ্রাম বিড; 6 মাস-5 বছর: 240 মিলিগ্রাম বিড; 6-12 বছর: 480 মিলিগ্রাম বিড।
রেনাল বৈকল্য: প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক এবং শিশুদের জন্য ডোজ হ্রাস > 12 বছর:
CrCl (মিলি/মিনিট)
15-30 অর্ধেক আদর্শ ডোজ।
Pregnancy & Lactation
এই ওষুধটি গর্ভাবস্থায় অনুমোদিত নয়। আপনি গর্ভবতী হলে এটি ব্যবহার করবেন না। এটি ত্বক এবং ফুসফুসের মাধ্যমে শোষিত হতে পারে যা আপনার অনাগত সন্তানের অঙ্গগুলির ক্ষতি করতে পারে এবং জন্মগত অক্ষমতা সৃষ্টি করতে পারে। চিকিত্সার সময় এবং এই ওষুধটি বন্ধ করার ছয় মাস পরে কঠোর কার্যকর জন্মনিয়ন্ত্রণ। আপনি যদি গর্ভবতী হন, তাহলে এই ওষুধটি গ্রহণ বন্ধ করুন এবং অবিলম্বে আপনার ডাক্তারের সাথে আলোচনা করুন।
এই ওষুধটি বুকের দুধে প্রবেশ করে কিনা সে সম্পর্কে কোনও নির্দিষ্ট তথ্য নেই। শিশুদের জন্য সম্ভাব্য ঝুঁকি বিবেচনা করে, এই ওষুধটি ব্যবহার করার সময় বুকের দুধ খাওয়ানোর পরামর্শ দেওয়া হয় না এবং শেষ ডোজ পরে অন্তত দুই সপ্তাহ। বুকের দুধ খাওয়ানোর আগে আপনার ডাক্তারের সাথে পরামর্শ করুন।
