Precautions and warnings
Bronchospastische Erkrankung bei älteren Menschen, Nieren- oder Leberfunktionsstörung Es ist möglich, dass sich dadurch Ihr Problem der peripheren arteriellen Durchblutung verschlimmert. Betablocker können die Kontraktilität des Herzmuskels verringern, und die langfristige Anwendung bei Patienten ohne Herzversagen in der Vorgeschichte kann in manchen Situationen zu Herzversagen führen. Patienten, die Anästhetika erhalten, sollten vorsichtig sein, da sie das Myokard schwächen können. Ein akuter Entzug kann bei Patienten mit koronarer Herzkrankheit die Angina pectoris verschlimmern und zu einem Herzinfarkt führen. Hypoglykämie- und Thyreotoxikose-Symptome (Tachykardie) können durch Atenolol maskiert werden. Eine Chlorthalidon-Therapie kann zum Auftreten latenter DM führen. Sowohl Hyperurikämie als auch Gicht können durch Chlorthalidon verursacht werden. Nierenfunktion, Kaliumspiegel und Symptome eines Flüssigkeits- und Elektrolytungleichgewichts sollten überwacht werden. Wenn Sie Anzeichen einer zunehmenden Nierenfunktionsstörung bemerken, brechen Sie die Einnahme ab. Von Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit wird abgeraten. Die Sicherheit und Wirksamkeit des Arzneimittels bei Kindern muss noch ermittelt werden.

Drug Interactions
Die gleichzeitige Verabreichung von Reserpin und anderen Arzneimitteln kann zu Hypotonie und Bradykardie führen. Kanalblocker, Hydralazin und Methyldopa sind allesamt Zusatzstoffe. Verapamil und Diltiazem erhöhen das Risiko einer Bradykardie und eines Herzblocks. Zusammen mit NSAIDs kann es helfen, blutdrucksenkende Symptome zu lindern (z. B. Indomethacin). Disopyramid, Amiodaron oder Digitalisglykoside haben eine stärkere bradykarde Wirkung. Wenn Clonidin abgesetzt wird, kann es zu einer Rebound-Hypertonie kommen.
Contraindications
Überempfindlichkeit gegen das Produkt oder Sulfonamidderivate, Sinusbradykardie, Herzblock 2. oder 3. Grades, kardiogener Schock und Anurie.
Mode of actions
Atenolol ist ein adrenerger Rezeptorblocker, der hauptsächlich auf die ersten adrenergen Rezeptoren des Herzens wirkt. Chlorthalidon ist ein Thiazid-ähnliches Diuretikum, das den Blutdruck senkt, indem es die Natriumreabsorption am Anfang des distalen gewundenen Tubulus blockiert. Bei gemeinsamer Anwendung der beiden Medikamente kommt es zu einer additiven blutdrucksenkenden Wirkung.
Dosage & Administration
Erwachsene: Pro Tab enthält Atenolol (mg)/Chlortalidon (mg): 50/25 oder 100/25. Zunächst einmal täglich eine Tablette 50/12,5; kann sich je nach Antwort auf einen Tab von 100/25 erhöhen.

Pregnancy & Lactation
Dieses Arzneimittel ist während der Schwangerschaft nicht erlaubt. Verwenden Sie es nicht, wenn Sie schwanger sind. Es kann über die Haut und die Lunge aufgenommen werden und die Organe Ihres ungeborenen Kindes schädigen und angeborene Behinderungen verursachen. Strenge wirksame Empfängnisverhütung während der Behandlung und für sechs Monate nach Absetzen dieses Arzneimittels. Wenn Sie schwanger werden, beenden Sie die Einnahme dieses Arzneimittels und sprechen Sie sofort mit Ihrem Arzt.
Es liegen keine spezifischen Informationen darüber vor, ob dieses Arzneimittel in die Muttermilch übergeht oder nicht. Angesichts der möglichen Risiken für die Kinder wird das Stillen während der Anwendung dieses Arzneimittels und mindestens zwei Wochen nach der letzten Dosis nicht empfohlen. Konsultieren Sie vor dem Stillen Ihren Arzt.
