Drug Interactions

Contraindications

Mode of actions

Capsaicin is a substance that activates TRPV1 receptors. When applied to the skin, it first stimulates these receptors, which can cause a brief burning or painful feeling. After this, it helps relieve pain by reducing the number of pain-sensing nerve endings that have TRPV1 receptors.
