Precautions and warnings
Nicht anwenden, wenn Sie an einer Schilddrüsenüberfunktion (Hyperthyreose), Herzproblemen wie Herzerkrankungen, unregelmäßigem Herzschlag oder schnellem Herzschlag leiden. Vermeiden Sie es, wenn Sie an Blutgefäßerkrankungen wie Arterienverkalkung (Arteriosklerose), Bluthochdruck oder Aneurysmen leiden. Es sollte auch bei Menschen mit Diabetes, Engwinkelglaukom, Nierenproblemen oder einer vergrößerten Prostata vermieden werden. Nicht während der Schwangerschaft oder Stillzeit anwenden.

- Ohnmacht und Hitzegefühl. Gewebenekrose und Ablösung; Myokard- und Arteriennekrose.
Drug Interactions
Es besteht ein höheres Risiko für Bluthochdruck und Herzrhythmusstörungen, wenn dieses Arzneimittel zusammen mit Herzglykosiden, Chinidin oder trizyklischen Antidepressiva (TCAs) angewendet wird. Das Risiko einer Blutgefäßverengung steigt, wenn es zusammen mit Mutterkornalkaloiden oder Oxytocin verabreicht wird. Die Einnahme zusammen mit MAO-Hemmern (MAO-Hemmern) kann zu einem gefährlichen Anstieg des Blutdrucks (hypertensive Krise) führen. Es kann auch zu Wechselwirkungen mit Anästhetika wie Cyclopropan, Halothan und anderen halogenierten Anästhetika sowie mit blutdrucksenkenden Arzneimitteln kommen.
Contraindications
Schwerer Bluthochdruck, Phäochromozytom.
Mode of actions
Fexofenadin ist ein Arzneimittel, das von einem anderen Arzneimittel namens Terfenadin abgeleitet ist. Es wirkt, indem es Histamin-H1-Rezeptoren außerhalb des Gehirns blockiert, was dazu beiträgt, Allergiesymptome im Verdauungssystem, in den Blutgefäßen und in den Atemwegen zu reduzieren.
Pseudoephedrin wirkt, indem es sowohl Alpha- (?) als auch Beta- (?) adrenerge Rezeptoren aktiviert. Wenn es β-adrenerge Rezeptoren in der Nasenschleimhaut und den Atemwegen stimuliert, führt es zu einer Verengung der Blutgefäße, wodurch Schwellungen und Verstopfung reduziert werden. Wenn es β-adrenerge Rezeptoren aktiviert, entspannt es die Muskeln in den Atemwegen, erleichtert Ihnen das Atmen und erhöht außerdem Ihre Herzfrequenz und die Stärke Ihres Herzschlags.
Dosage & Administration
Erwachsene und Kinder ab 12 Jahren: 1 Tablette zweimal täglich auf nüchternen Magen mit Wasser einnehmen.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Obwohl Reproduktionsstudien an Tieren eine nachteilige Wirkung auf den Fötus gezeigt haben und es keine ausreichenden und gut kontrollierten Studien bei schwangeren Frauen gibt, kann dieses Arzneimittel trotz möglicher Risiken während der Schwangerschaft nur dann angewendet werden, wenn dies unbedingt erforderlich ist.
Bei Müttern eines Neugeborenen, die dieses Arzneimittel in den letzten drei Monaten der Schwangerschaft eingenommen haben, kann es selten zu Symptomen wie Schläfrigkeit, Muskelsteifheit oder Zittern, Schwierigkeiten beim Füttern oder Atmen und ständigem Weinen kommen. Wenn Sie eines dieser Symptome bei Ihrem Baby bemerken, insbesondere im ersten Monat, informieren Sie sofort den Arzt.
Dieses Arzneimittel geht in die Muttermilch über. Sprechen Sie vor dem Stillen mit Ihrem Arzt.
