Iprex is indicated for

Precautions and warnings
People with bladder neck obstruction, narrow-angle glaucoma, those at risk of glaucoma, or prostatic enlargement should use caution. Protect the patient’s eyes from any nebulized medication. Use carefully in patients with kidney or liver problems, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and in children or the elderly.

Drug Interactions
Increased toxicity with other anticholinergic drugs.
Contraindications
People who are allergic to atropine, drugs similar to atropine, or any other ingredient in Ipratropium Bromide solution should not use this medicine.
Mode of actions
Ipratropium bromide works by blocking acetylcholine from acting on certain nerve sites in the airways. This helps relax the muscles around the airways, making it easier to breathe.
Dosage & Administration
As Inhaler: Adults: 1-2 puffs (20 mg/puff) 3-4 times daily. Children: 1-2 puffs 2-3 times daily.
As nebulized soln: Adults (including elderly and adolescents) over 12 years of age: The usual dose is 0.4-2.0 ml Ipratropium Bromide Solution (100-500 micrograms) up to four times daily.
Children over 3 years: The usual dose is 0.4-2.0 ml Ipratropium Bromide Solution (100-500 micrograms) up to three times daily.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Although animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect even sometimes unable to demonstrate the risk on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, but during pregnancy, this medicine can be used just when definitely required.

There is no specific information about whether this medicine is passed on to the baby through breast milk. Discuss with your doctor before breastfeeding.
