Precautions and warnings

Be careful in situations where there is a risk of having too much iron in the body, like in haemochromatosis, thalassemia, haemosiderosis, or haemolytic anaemia.

Contraindications

This product should not be used by anyone who is allergic to its ingredients. People with conditions such as hemosiderosis, hemochromatosis, or hemolytic anemia should not take iron supplements.

Mode of actions

**Iron:**
Iron is essential for making hemoglobin, the part of red blood cells that carries oxygen. We need enough iron for the body to make healthy red blood cells. Iron also helps several important enzymes, including those that help with energy production. Iron from hemoglobin, myoglobin, and enzymes needs to be replaced regularly to keep these processes working and to help deliver oxygen throughout the body.

**Zinc:**
Zinc is needed for more than 100 enzymes in the body. It helps with making DNA, supports the immune system, and is important for the senses of taste and smell. Zinc may also help with how insulin works in the body.

**Vitamin B:**
Vitamin B helps make and maintain coenzyme A, which the body uses to process fats and carbohydrates and for energy production. It also helps break down glycogen and slows down the production of certain fats in the blood. Some types of vitamin B, like B12 (cyanocobalamin), are needed for making healthy red blood cells, DNA, nerves, and for normal growth. Vitamin B12 is absorbed in the stomach with the help of a protein called intrinsic factor. Vitamin B is also involved in tissue respiration and helps the body use other vitamins and make niacin from tryptophan.

Dosage & Administration

Adults: 10 ml (2 teaspoonful) twice daily or as recommended by the physician.
Children: 5 ml (1 teaspoonful) once or twice daily or as recommended by the physician.
Infants: 0.33 ml/Kg body weight daily or as recommended by the physician.

Pregnancy & Lactation

FDA has not yet classified this medicine into a specified pregnancy category. Although there is no enough evidence that taking this medicine during you are pregnant is harmful.

Discuss with your doctor if you are trying to get pregnant while taking this medicine too.

If you do become pregnant while you are taking this medicine, you should continue to take it and contact with your doctors as quickly as possible. They can assist you to decide whether or not to keep taking this medicine. If you abandon taking this medicine and become sick, this would be more pernicious to your child than staying on the medication.


There is no specific information about whether this medicine is passed on to the baby through breast milk. During this medication, if your baby becomes very sleepy, restless, fatigued, exhibit feeding problems, stop breastfeeding and talk to your doctors very quickly.
