Si vous oubliez de prendre une dose, faites-le dès que vous vous en souvenez. Si la prochaine dose approche, sautez la dose manquante. Prenez votre prochaine dose à la même heure chaque jour. Pour rattraper son retard, n’augmentez pas la dose.
Hypersensibilité au principe actif des pénicillines.
La cloxacilline résiste à la dégradation de la pénicillinase. Il est particulièrement efficace contre les staphylocoques qui produisent la pénicillinase. Très efficace contre Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus pyogenes, Staphylococcus viridans et Staphylococcus pneumoniae.
Adulte : PO 250-500 mg 4 fois/jour.
Enfant : 50 à 100 mg/kg en doses fractionnées toutes les 6 heures.
Bien que les études sur la reproduction animale aient montré un effet indésirable, même parfois sans pouvoir démontrer le risque pour le fœtus et qu'il n'existe pas d'études adéquates et bien contrôlées chez la femme enceinte, ce médicament peut être utilisé pendant la grossesse juste en cas de nécessité absolue.
