Side-effects

Drug Interactions
可以防止結腸中美沙拉嗪的釋放。 口服新黴素和抗酸劑的作用會減弱。
Contraindications
對於患有半乳糖血症和腸阻塞的患者，不建議使用乳果糖。
Mode of actions
乳果糖透過在結腸中引起滲透作用來增加蠕動，導致腸道擴張。 它減少肝性腦病變中銨離子和有害含氮物質的吸收，導致血氨水平降低。
Dosage & Administration
便秘：
成人：最初每次15毫升，每日兩次，依患者需求調整。
兒童：1 歲以下：2.5 毫升，每日兩次
1-5 歲：每次 5 毫升，每日兩次
5-10歲：每次10毫升，每日兩次
肝性腦病變：30-50ml，每日3次，隨後調整至每日2-3次軟便。
Pregnancy & Lactation
雖然動物生殖研究顯示出不良影響，甚至有時無法證明對胎兒的風險，並且在孕婦中沒有充分和良好對照的研究，但在懷孕期間，這種藥物可以在確實需要時使用。
