Precautions and warnings

Side-effects
- 頭痛、頭暈、幻覺；耳鳴;噁心，嘔吐，惡臭，腹瀉；高血壓，暫時性胸痛，心悸，心動過緩;鼻塞，呼吸困難；發汗;血栓性靜脈炎;血尿;水中毒；腿部抽筋；過敏反應。 可能致命：休克。
Contraindications
高血壓、子癇或有高血壓病史、心臟病、靜脈房分流、二尖瓣狹窄和嚴重血管疾病是需要謹慎的情況。 如果有流產或懷孕期間的風險，請勿使用該藥。
Mode of actions
麥角新鹼透過使子宮肌肉收縮來發揮作用。 當低劑量給藥時，它會增加子宮收縮的頻率和強度。 在較高劑量下，它使子宮整體保持更緊密的收縮。 麥角新鹼還可以縮小身體其他部位的血管，包括大腦和四肢的血管。
Dosage & Administration
口服：
預防產後出血
成人：產褥期每次 200 mcg，每日 3-4 次，持續 2-7 天。
肌肉注射
產後和流產後出血的治療和預防
成人：200 微克。 可能每 2-4 小時重複一次。 最多：5 劑。
靜脈注射
產後和流產後出血的治療和預防
成人：作為緊急措施：在至少 1 分鐘內緩慢注射 200 微克，每 2-4 小時重複一次，最多 5 劑。
Pregnancy & Lactation
懷孕期間不得使用該藥。 它可以透過皮膚和肺部吸收，從而損害未出生孩子的器官並導致先天性殘疾。 從治療前一個月和治療期間以及停藥後三年開始，嚴格採取兩種有效的節育措施。 如果您不確定哪種避孕方法對您有效，請與您的醫生討論。 在使用該藥物治療期間以及服用該藥物後至少三年內，您必須定期進行妊娠測試。 如果您似乎確實懷孕了，請停止服用此藥並立即致電您的醫生。 如果你真的懷孕了，錯過了月經，或是在沒有使用兩種避孕措施的情況下發生性行為。 在某些情況下，您的醫生可以開立緊急避孕藥來預防懷孕。 服用這種藥物的人在治療期間和治療後三年內不應捐血。
此藥亦禁忌母乳。 不建議在使用這種藥物期間及之後三年內進行母乳哺育。
