Precautions and warnings
If you have a weak gag reflex, reflux esophagitis, or reduced alertness, use with caution. Stop using if you notice any signs of fluid or electrolyte imbalances. Consult your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Contraindications
Blocked or torn intestines, paralysis of the bowel, stomach not emptying properly, or serious inflammation in the digestive tract (such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, or toxic megacolon).
Mode of actions
**Sodium chloride** is the main salt found outside our body’s cells. It helps keep the right balance of fluids and electrolytes, controls water movement, and helps maintain the body’s sodium levels. It is often used to hydrate patients, treat metabolic acidosis, prepare fluids for dialysis, manage certain types of diabetes, and dilute other medicines for infusion.
**Potassium chloride** is the main mineral inside our cells. It helps send nerve signals in the heart, brain, and muscles, supports muscle contractions, and keeps the kidneys, acid-base balance, digestion, and carbohydrate metabolism working normally.
**Sodium bicarbonate** works by raising the pH of blood and urine, making them less acidic. It does this by providing bicarbonate ions which neutralize acids. It also helps reduce stomach acid by creating carbon dioxide.
**Polyethylene glycol** works as a laxative by drawing water into the stool, making it softer and increasing how often you have bowel movements.
Dosage & Administration
ADULTS AND CHILDREN OVER 12 YEARS OF AGE:
Constipation: 1 sachet daily, increasing to 2 or 3 sachets daily if necessary.
Faecal impaction: 8 sachets a day for no more than 3 days.
Directions for use:
Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 125 mL of water then drink it. Do not exceed the stated dose. Not recommended for children less than 12 years of age.
Pregnancy & Lactation
FDA has not yet classified this medicine into a specified pregnancy category. Although there is no enough evidence that taking this medicine during you are pregnant is harmful.
Discuss with your doctor if you are trying to get pregnant while taking this medicine too.
If you do become pregnant while you are taking this medicine, you should continue to take it and contact with your doctors as quickly as possible. They can assist you to decide whether or not to keep taking this medicine. If you abandon taking this medicine and become sick, this would be more pernicious to your child than staying on the medication.
There is no specific information about whether this medicine is passed on to the baby through breast milk. During this medication, if your baby becomes very sleepy, restless, fatigued, exhibit feeding problems, stop breastfeeding and talk to your doctors very quickly.
