Precautions and warnings
Dieses Medikament kann zu Flüssigkeits- und/oder Salzansammlungen führen. Verwenden Sie es vorsichtig bei Patienten mit Herzinsuffizienz, schweren Nierenproblemen oder anderen Erkrankungen, die dazu führen, dass der Körper Natrium einlagert und Schwellungen entstehen. Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig den Kaliumspiegel im Blut. Geben Sie dieses Arzneimittel nicht in die gleiche Leitung wie Blut, da es sonst zu Verklumpungen kommen kann. Seien Sie vorsichtig bei Patienten mit Diabetes oder solchen, die Schwierigkeiten bei der Verarbeitung von Kohlenhydraten haben. Bei der intravenösen Verabreichung starker Zuckerlösungen besteht das Risiko eines niedrigen Kaliumspiegels. Seien Sie besonders vorsichtig bei Kindern, insbesondere bei Neugeborenen und Babys mit sehr geringem Geburtsgewicht. Seien Sie vorsichtig, wenn der Patient auch Steroide oder Corticotropin einnimmt. Seien Sie vorsichtig, wenn Sie es schwangeren Frauen geben.

- Infektion an der Injektionsstelle
- Venenthrombose oder Venenentzündung
- die von der Injektionsstelle ausgeht
- Extravasation und Hypervolämie.
Mode of actions
Dextrose- und Natriumchloridlösungen versorgen den Körper mit wichtigen Elektrolyten, Energie (Kalorien) und Wasser, um hydriert zu bleiben. Natrium und Chlorid helfen, das Säure-Basen-Gleichgewicht des Körpers zu regulieren. Dextrose ist eine Zuckerart, die Energie liefert. Der Körper verwertet leicht Dextrose, die dabei hilft, den Verlust von körpereigenem Protein und Stickstoff zu verhindern. Es hilft dem Körper auch dabei, Glykogen (eine Form von Energie) zu speichern und hilft, Ketose (einen Zustand, bei dem der Körper Fett anstelle von Zucker zur Energiegewinnung nutzt) zu stoppen oder zu verhindern.
Dosage & Administration
Erwachsene: IV-Dosis hängt vom Alter, dem Körpergewicht und dem klinischen Zustand des Patienten ab.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Obwohl Reproduktionsstudien an Tieren eine nachteilige Wirkung auf den Fötus gezeigt haben und es keine ausreichenden und gut kontrollierten Studien bei schwangeren Frauen gibt, kann dieses Arzneimittel trotz möglicher Risiken während der Schwangerschaft nur dann angewendet werden, wenn dies unbedingt erforderlich ist.
Bei Müttern eines Neugeborenen, die dieses Arzneimittel in den letzten drei Monaten der Schwangerschaft eingenommen haben, kann es selten zu Symptomen wie Schläfrigkeit, Muskelsteifheit oder Zittern, Schwierigkeiten beim Füttern oder Atmen und ständigem Weinen kommen. Wenn Sie eines dieser Symptome bei Ihrem Baby bemerken, insbesondere im ersten Monat, informieren Sie sofort den Arzt.
Dieses Arzneimittel geht in die Muttermilch über. Sprechen Sie vor dem Stillen mit Ihrem Arzt.
