Precautions and warnings
Mantenga este producto alejado de los ojos y de cualquier zona sensible como el interior de la nariz o la boca. No cubra, envuelva ni venda el área hasta que la haya lavado bien. No lo use en heridas abiertas o piel rota. No lo apliques inmediatamente después de bañarte. Asegúrese de lavarse bien las manos después de su uso.
Side-effects
- Puede producirse enrojecimiento o irritación
- especialmente en personas con piel sensible. Las reacciones adversas que pueden estar implicadas son irritación local de leve a moderada
- eritema
- erupción cutánea
- descamación
- prurito y reacción local relativa en el lugar de aplicación.
Contraindications
Alergia al salicilato o cualquiera de sus componentes.
Mode of actions
El mentol ayuda a reducir la inflamación, aliviar el dolor y adormecer las zonas localmente. Se utiliza principalmente para aliviar los síntomas de sinusitis, bronquitis y problemas similares. Puede utilizar mentol como inhalante, ungüento o pastilla.
Dosage & Administration
Sólo para uso externo.
Adultos y niños a partir de 2 años: Aplicar una fina capa sobre la zona afectada y masajear suavemente hasta que desaparezca la crema. Aplicar en el área afectada no más de 3 a 4 veces al día.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Aunque los estudios de reproducción en animales han demostrado un efecto adverso en el feto y no existen estudios adecuados y bien controlados en mujeres embarazadas, durante el embarazo este medicamento se puede utilizar sólo cuando sea definitivamente necesario a pesar de los riesgos potenciales.
Las madres con un bebé recién nacido que han usado este medicamento durante los últimos 3 meses de embarazo rara vez presentan síntomas que incluyen somnolencia, rigidez o temblores musculares, problemas para alimentarse o respirar, y llanto constante. Si nota alguno de estos síntomas en su bebé, especialmente durante el primer mes, informe al médico de inmediato.
Este medicamento pasa a la leche materna. Hable con su médico antes de amamantar.
