Precautions and warnings
患有心臟病、癲癇、閉角型青光眼、暴露於極熱或極冷溫度的患者、老年人、帕金森氏症、重症肌無力、前列腺肥大（良性前列腺增生）、糖尿病以及患有腎臟或肝臟問題的患者應謹慎使用三氟拉嗪。 在脊髓造影檢查前至少 48 小時停止服用三氟拉嗪，直到手術後至少 24 小時才重新開始服用。 若使用美曲醯胺，請勿在脊髓造影之前或之後使用三氟拉嗪控制噁心或嘔吐。 另外，怀孕期间避免使用。
Side-effects
- 嗜睡、口乾、視力模糊、頭暈、鎮靜、抗毒蕈鹼作用、姿勢性低血壓、靜坐不能、肌肉無力、厭食、失眠、皮疹、閉經、疲勞、催乳素水平升高、錐體外系副作用。 潛在致命：抗精神病藥物惡性症候群、血液惡液質。
Drug Interactions
將這種藥物與其他會減慢大腦速度的藥物（如鴉片類藥物、止痛藥、安眠藥、麻醉劑或酒精）一起服用，可能會使睡意變得更糟。 如果與具有抗毒蕈鹼作用的藥物（例如某些抗憂鬱藥物 (TCA) 或治療帕金森氏症的藥物）一起使用，出現副作用的風險會更高。 该药可以降低左旋多巴等多巴胺能药物的有效性。 如果与血压药物或曲唑酮一起服用，还可能增加低血压的风险。 可阻斷胍乙啶的降血壓作用。 与锂一起使用时，可能会增加严重运动问题或神经毒性的风险。 最后，抗酸剂可以降低您的身体吸收这种药物的量。
Contraindications
如果您患有中樞神經系統 (CNS) 抑鬱症或處於昏迷狀態，請勿使用；有骨髓問題、血液疾病、肝臟疾病或對吩噻嗪過敏；或如果您患有依賴催乳素的腫瘤。 不建議在懷孕的前三個月或哺乳期間使用。
Mode of actions
三氟拉嗪透過阻斷大腦中的多巴胺 D2 受體發揮作用。 它不會引起太多嗜睡或抗膽鹼能副作用，但會強烈引起與運動相關的副作用（錐體外系症狀），並有助於預防噁心和嘔吐。 它主要用於控制嚴重的激動或暴力行為，但也可用於治療與精神病無關的焦慮。
Dosage & Administration
成人： PO 精神病 2-5 mg，每日兩次，最多 15-20 mg/天。 嚴重或抗藥性：40毫克/天。
噁心和嘔吐；短期治療焦慮症，每次 1-2 mg，每日兩次。 最大：6 毫克/天。
對於焦慮：最長持續時間：12 週。
Pregnancy & Lactation
儘管動物生殖研究顯示對胎兒有不良影響，並且在孕婦中沒有充分且良好對照的研究，但在懷孕期間，儘管存在潛在風險，但在確實需要時可以使用該藥物。
在懷孕最後 3 個月內使用這種藥物的新生兒母親可能很少會出現困倦、肌肉僵硬或顫抖、餵食或呼吸困難、持續哭泣等症狀。 如果您發現寶寶有任何這些症狀，尤其是在第一個月內，請立即告訴醫生。
