Drug Interactions
Einige Medikamente können die Medikamentenmenge in Ihrem Blut erhöhen, indem sie die Leberenzyme beeinflussen. Beispiele hierfür sind Azithromycin, Cimetidin, Erythromycin, Fluoxetin und Ketoconazol.
Die Anwendung dieses Arzneimittels zusammen mit bestimmten anderen Arzneimitteln kann das Risiko von Nebenwirkungen erhöhen:
- Das Risiko für Bluthochdruck und unregelmäßigen Herzschlag ist höher, wenn es zusammen mit Herzmedikamenten (wie Herzglykosiden, Chinidin oder trizyklischen Antidepressiva) eingenommen wird.
- Bei gleichzeitiger Anwendung mit Mutterkornalkaloiden oder Oxytocin besteht ein höheres Risiko einer starken Verengung der Blutgefäße.
- Die Einnahme dieses Arzneimittels zusammen mit MAO-Hemmern (MAO-Hemmern) kann zu einem gefährlichen Anstieg des Blutdrucks (hypertensive Krise) führen.
- Die Anwendung mit bestimmten Anästhetika (wie Cyclopropan, Halothan und anderen halogenierten Anästhetika) oder Blutdruckmedikamenten (Antihypertensiva) kann zu Wechselwirkungen führen.
Mode of actions
Desloratadin ist ein lang anhaltendes Allergiemedikament, das keine Schläfrigkeit verursacht. Es blockiert Histamin-H1-Rezeptoren außerhalb des Gehirns und verhindert, dass bestimmte Immunzellen entzündungsauslösende Substanzen freisetzen.
Pseudoephedrin wirkt durch die Aktivierung von Alpha- und Beta-adrenergen Rezeptoren. Dadurch verengen sich die Blutgefäße in der Nase, was zu einer Verstopfung der Nase führt. Außerdem entspannt es die Atemwege und kann die Herzfrequenz und die Stärke des Herzschlags steigern.
Dosage & Administration
PO: Erwachsene und Jugendliche ab 12 Jahren: 1 Tablette (2,5 mg Desloratadin/120 mg Pseudoephedrin) alle 12 Stunden.
1 Tablette (5 mg Desloratadin/240 mg Pseudoephedrin) 24 Stunden.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Obwohl Reproduktionsstudien an Tieren eine nachteilige Wirkung auf den Fötus gezeigt haben und es keine ausreichenden und gut kontrollierten Studien bei schwangeren Frauen gibt, kann dieses Arzneimittel trotz möglicher Risiken während der Schwangerschaft nur dann angewendet werden, wenn dies unbedingt erforderlich ist.
Bei Müttern eines Neugeborenen, die dieses Arzneimittel in den letzten drei Monaten der Schwangerschaft eingenommen haben, kann es selten zu Symptomen wie Schläfrigkeit, Muskelsteifheit oder Zittern, Schwierigkeiten beim Füttern oder Atmen und ständigem Weinen kommen. Wenn Sie eines dieser Symptome bei Ihrem Baby bemerken, insbesondere im ersten Monat, informieren Sie sofort den Arzt.
Dieses Arzneimittel geht in die Muttermilch über. Sprechen Sie vor dem Stillen mit Ihrem Arzt.
