Drug Interactions
Alguns medicamentos podem aumentar a quantidade de medicação no seu sangue, afetando as enzimas hepáticas. Exemplos incluem azitromicina, cimetidina, eritromicina, fluoxetina e cetoconazol.
O uso deste medicamento com certos outros medicamentos pode aumentar o risco de efeitos colaterais:
- O risco de pressão alta e batimento cardíaco irregular é maior se tomado com medicamentos cardíacos (como glicosídeos cardíacos, quinidina ou antidepressivos tricíclicos).
- Há uma chance maior de constrição forte dos vasos sanguíneos, se usada com alcalóides ergot ou ocitocina.
- Tomar este medicamento com inibidores de MAO (MAOIs) pode causar um aumento perigoso da pressão arterial (crise hipertensiva).
- Usá -lo com certos anestésicos (como ciclopropano, halotano e outros anestésicos halogenados) ou medicamentos para pressão arterial (anti -hipertensivos) podem causar interações.
Mode of actions
A dessloratadina é um medicamento alérgico duradouro que não causa sonolência. Funciona bloqueando os receptores da histamina H1 fora do cérebro e impede certas células imunes de liberar substâncias que causam inflamação.
A pseudoefedrina funciona ativando os receptores alfa e beta-adrenérgicos. Isso causa estreito vasos sanguíneos no nariz, o que reduz o congestionamento. Também relaxa as vias aéreas e pode aumentar a freqüência cardíaca e a força dos batimentos cardíacos.
Dosage & Administration
PO: Adultos e adolescentes de 12 anos ou mais de: 1 comprimido (2,5 mg de dessloratadina/120 mg de pseudoefedrina) 12 horas.
1 comprimido (5 mg de desloratadina/240 mg de pseudoefedrina) 24 horas por hora.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Embora os estudos de reprodução de animais tenham mostrado um efeito adverso no feto e não há estudos adequados e bem controlados em mulheres grávidas, mas durante a gravidez, este medicamento pode ser usado exatamente quando definitivamente necessário, apesar dos riscos potenciais.
Mães com um bebê recém -nascido que usaram esse medicamento durante os últimos 3 meses de gravidez raramente podem criar sintomas, incluindo sonolência, rigidez muscular ou trêmula, problemas de alimentação ou respiração, choro constante. Se você notar algum desses sintomas do seu bebê, particularmente durante o primeiro mês, diga ao médico imediatamente.
Este medicamento passa para o leite materno. Converse com seu médico antes de amamentar.
