Symptoms of abrupt or quick withdrawal of Pregabalin include sleeplessness, nausea, headache, and diarrhoea. As a result, rather than stopping Pregabalin abruptly, it should be tapered gradually over a minimum of one week. Creatine kinase increases have been linked to pregabalin therapy. If myopathy is diagnosed or suspected, or if dramatically high creatine kinase levels develop, it should be stopped. If a patient develops severe angioedema, the treatment should be stopped. Withdraw treatment slowly over a period of at least one week. It has the potential to produce peripheral oedema. It is suggested that you have your vision checked on a regular basis. It's possible that this medication will lower platelet count and lengthen the PR interval.
Orlistat is a product that may interact with this medication.
If this drug is combined with other medications that cause drowsiness or breathing issues, the risk of serious side effects such as slow breathing and severe dizziness may be increased. If you're taking any other medications, such as opioid pain relievers like codeine or hydrocodone, alcohol, cannabis, pharmaceuticals for sleep or anxiety-like alprazolam, lorazepam, zolpidem, muscle relaxants, or antihistamines like cetirizine or diphenhydramine, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
Intolerance to the active component. A mother who breastfeeds her baby during pregnancy. Do not drive, work with machines, or engage in other potentially hazardous activities.
Oral
Neuropathic pain
Adult: Initially, 150 mg/day, may increase to 300 mg/day after 3-7 days. Max: 600 mg/day after a 7-day interval. All doses to be given in 2 or 3 divided doses.
Adjunct in partial seizures
Adult: Initially, 150 mg/day, may increase to 300 mg/day after a wk. Max: 600 mg/day. All doses to be given in 2 or 3 divided doses.
Fibromyalgia
Adult: Initially, 150 mg/day, may increase to 300 mg/day after a wk. Max: 450 mg/day, if needed. All doses to be given in 2 or 3 divided doses.
Anxiety
Adult: Initially, 150 mg/day, may increase in increments of 150 mg wkly. Max: 600 mg/day. All doses to be given in 2 or 3 divided doses.
Post herpetic neuralgia
Adult: Initially, 150-300 mg/day in divided doses. Max: 600 mg/day in divded doses.
Renal impairment: Haemodialysis: 25-100 mg immediately after each 4-hr haemodialysis session.

Although animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, but during pregnancy, this medicine can be used just when definitely required despite potential risks.
Mothers with a newborn baby who have used this drug during the last 3 months of pregnancy may seldom create symptoms including drowsiness, muscle stiffness or shakiness, feeding or breathing troubles, constant crying. If you notice any of these symptoms of your baby's particularly during their first month, tell the doctor immediately.
This medicine passes into breast milk. Talk to your doctor before breastfeeding.
