Precautions and warnings

Side-effects
- 嗜睡、鎮靜、肌肉無力和共濟失調；較少出現眩暈、頭痛、精神錯亂、抑鬱、言語不清、性慾改變、震顫、視力障礙、尿瀦留、胃腸道紊亂、流涎改變和健忘症；很少有黃疸、血液疾病和靜脈炎；疼痛和血栓性升高；矛盾的興奮。
Drug Interactions
與其他中樞活性藥物混合使用時，溴西泮的鎮靜作用可能會加劇。 抗憂鬱藥、催眠藥、鴉片類藥物、抗精神病藥、鎮靜劑、抗癲癇藥、鎮靜抗組織胺和麻醉藥都是這些藥物的例子。 西咪替丁合用時可能會延長溴西泮的消除半衰期。 溴西泮不應與酒精一起服用，因為酒精可能會增強溴西泮的鎮靜作用。
Contraindications
先前存在的中樞神經系統抑製或昏迷、呼吸抑制、急性肺功能不全或睡眠呼吸中止症、嚴重肝功能不全（不適用於慢性精神病、恐懼或強迫狀態）可能會引發有害或攻擊性行為和青光眼。
Mode of actions

Dosage & Administration
成人：PO 初始：6-18 mg/天，分次服用。 住院患者偶爾會接受較高劑量的治療。 老年患者和肝腎功能不全的患者劑量應減少至少一半。
